#1 Issue is probably going to be the crappy intel integrated graphics chipset on that thing. You need dedicated video memory*(edited) to play heavy memory intensive games worth a damn on any machine. Sometimes, the price of a laptop, doesn't ensure its quality, or ability to do what you want it to do!

I think there are some really cool spots along the shore lines that could have loot, under the small boat ramps/docks the light houses etc. When i first started playing, those were the original places i checked, not wanting to head in to the city. If debris were to float ashore, it wouldn't/shouldn't be weapons (maybe a .01% chance a pistol, or some ammo) but maybe raw essentials, like a canteen and some bandages.

I'm sorry but: The Mountain Dew i found off a bandit we killed, which was then stashed in my backpack, waiting for the right moment to drink it (like a victory Dew), only to be killed a day later and lose it (by some trigger happy survivor) was far more valuable than the 6 hours you spent fixing a bus! Because after a lengthy discussion, and numerous complaints, to the point where people were locking servers to avoid hackers, BE pushed the system update.

I'm actually kind of curious to know what these people claiming to not have been hacking, had running on their system, unfortunately, that's not possible due to the fact that, doing this would in-turn potentially reveal said reason as to why people were banned to begin with and would allow the creators of the crap to figure out a work around. Unfortunately ,there's no real way around the problem without individuals contacting BE and having them explain what may have caused the ban. Rocket has already said in numerous posts, he reviewed the mechanics in place and agreed that it was an acceptable solution for BE to implement in order to stop a large percentage of people's in game experiences being ruined. You do realize as a PC user, you cant just put anything on your machine and expect to get away with it. Even though you may not have been directly using cheats or hacks, you may have downloaded something from a 3rd party site and installed it to your machine, that's all it would have taken to flag your account once BE patched in the fix. This could have been anything, you may not have even knowingly put it on your machine (giving people the benefit of the doubt) or maybe secretly, you loaded up the hack just 1 time in a locked arma2 server to test it out, and were afraid to use it ever again. This would be enough to 'FLAG' your account to BE. A word of advice here would be, in any case, never put something on your machine unless you know what it does, and even then, 'knowing what it does' doesn't actually mean you truly 'know what it does'. This applies to ANYTHING not just DayZ. Everytime you download and execute a piece of software on your machine (from a crack to a simple program), you risk more than a mere game ban, you risk opening up your machine to people who you don't necessarily want to. TL;DR - Maybe you're not hacking in Arma2 or DayZ - doesn't mean you never did, or haven't executed a piece of code that would tell BE otherwise. PS - As stated before when the server issues occurred last week - download DayZ from the 'official' mirrors, not some google search.

If you've ever ran any type of server before for any game that uses anti-cheat software such as BE, PB, VAC then you would know that when you press the 'Ban using it STILL is only a server ban, except initiated through the anti-cheat tool, which can also be removed by going to said banlist within the server, or rcon tool, and removing said player name. If you're familiar with the system, you would also know that, in order to receive a global ban, your GUID is banned from battle eye (or PB, or VAC) which means that when you attempt to verify your GUID with the BE service, you are immediately denied. A user/server owner/admin cannot directly globally ban a user from all servers - BE, PB, VAC, needs to detect it and ban you from their 'whitelist' so to speak. And before you question my integrity, i've owned numerous servers for numerous games, and have pressed the 'Ban VIA punkbuster' numerous times as well, and also, removed said bans. That is all. -Stam -- Edit: if you are curious enough to see what i mean, check out (through the magic of Google) other services that systems like PB use - such as pbbans or GGC Stream which literally share all global bans to any server running the streaming software. In this case - BE is the sole proprietor of said list. Also, in the case above - Punk buster for example, allows users to do more than just simply server ban by name, they GUID ban to said server, and also allows server admins to kick, temp ban, and etc for ease of use for Server Admins.
