The Game is hard I'll give you that but like I said in my last post, there are servers that give you starting gear. That's how i started I won't lie but when I got a good handle of the game I switched to normal servers that give you the normal starting gear. All i'm saying is don't give up on it just yet.

I love how you said "(it seems the mod was great fun two years ago)" why would you buy ArmA 2 CO for a mod it seems you know nothing about. The mod came out around the middle of the year. And There are servers that give you starter gear. I thnk they should pt this post in the grave.

You just need to own both games.

When you log back into the server are you in the same place as you logged out and usually when you save your stuff it saves to that server not others.

I don't think it' a good idea Because Almost every game that has classes there is one that is better than the others, then everyone complains about it. So they nerf the class. then there will be another class that over powered than the rest it goes on and on.

Well I played on this server And it was really fun I didn't get a ride to the airfield but Red took me to a car. A little later my car broke down and the admins came and got in my car to see what was the problem without me knowing, so I got worried that JR was going to steal my car so i unload my M1911 mag into his face and then Red Killed the guy that I was giving a ride to a place so I picked up JR's Fn fal and killed Red. about a minute later I found out it was it was the admins and they were friendly I felt bad for killing the friendly admins. The only reason I killed them was JR was in a bandit outfit and got in my car without asking. Kinda a long story but the most fun I ever had in DayZ. Great server man. And maybe put your admins in a firing range :P

I was going to join but there's only 1 player on so idk.

I really like that detector idea it would help out if you didnt want to become a bandit.
