Update to the latest beta, if you are joining a server that is updated you will be invisible and have less scroll options for things like saving. As for where you are respawning, should fix it or run south east for like an hour once updated

that was in an update a while ago not sure if it was 1.7.0 might of been 1.6.1

Are you sure you're giving it enough time to load? sometimes if you instantly connect to a server while it's creating you'll hang for ever, i'm not in the group either. I'll send you something in a PM
