Try searching on the forum before making a thread and then bumping it as this has been posted many times, a possible fix is to right click ARMA 2 : OA and reinstall battleye.

If you can see your self, then try respawning or if not try searching on the forum for a way out there is a few "solutions" There are a lot of people who know "techy" stuff here, my self included. The way you get out is basically a glitch.

No you don't have to download 1.7.1 i made it for that but it still applies to the newest dayz, and no you can't skip it because you may have not installed it properly, you don't have to download it again but you will need to do still copy the arma2oa file etc.
