I'm having the same problem. I tried everything in that link and it made no difference. Everything is updated to the latest version and it still says this. Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead are both updated fully' date=' the Beta is updated as in the link you posted, Battleye is updated and the dayz mod files are fully updated. It's really annoying since I bought arma 2: combined operations, a game I have no intention of ever playing, just to play this mod and it never works. In the two weeks or so I have had this I've managed to play maybe 2 hours. I know it's only in Alpha at the moment but the ratio of effort and screwing around, versus actual gameplay and fun is just too low for me right now. Like is said in my post you're not starting it, you're still running the normal game. You'll have to find a guide on how to get six updater to run the beta, i can only help for those who bought the game with steam

You couldn't of looked to hard because there are about 200 threards with the same problem stating you need to download the latest beta for arma 2, and if you already have it's not starting.

You get a completely different error for the DayZ version.
