If you do not have a arma 2 operation arrowhead folder in your steamapps > common you do not have the game installed, pleas roost a screenshot of the directory you're looking at -
I'll look tomorrow my home Internet is down at the moment, but from your first post it sounds like an Nvidia driver issue. First try updating your graphics drivers, and if still a problem reinstall them. If that fails try posting your problem along with your log on here: http://www.sevenforums.com/

No it wont, gear only gets wiped on occasions when hive is reset.

Stop using six updater then, do it manually, the game works fine for the majority of people so no need to rage just because you can't figure it out. -

Gonna have to post, my home Internet is down and has been on and off for a few hours, currently using my iPad. All I can really say is try reading though all this and redoing everything http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2421 Or try Six launcher, I've never used it for DayZ so I can't help with it but I'm sure they're are tutorials on YouTube. Sorry I can't be of more help

Oh sorry i derped was thinking of missing files my bad, right click arma 2 : oa > reinstall battleye. That "should" fix it.

The server host groyp is redundant, the google group is what you want to be added to, can try PMing one of the staff in the live chat for an invite. -

When you go in game what is the number at the bottom right? 1.60.xxxxx Also go to your steam library right click Arma 2 : OA > reinstall battleye. -
