From the Moderator section it's self. There is a sort of creature that lurks in a forest on a random server every night which is random, when a player enters the forest a certain sound will be heard that's sounds like a faint heart beat, it starts of slow at first bit as you go further and further into the darkness it will grow considerably *thud...thud...THUD* once the sound hits it's peak a new sound will play saying "I SEE YOUUUuuuu" in a staticy disembodied voice, and at that exact moment in time a pair of large white orbs will light up in front of you and a solid mist forms...the lights blind you and the next thing you know you're at the dead screen... A rare image of the creature from a distance, you have to look closely

No it means you rent it, but it's yours to do as you wish you aren't just limited to hosting a DayZ server and you can have more than one, these tend to be expensive though

Depends on the hoster, there are several threads selling servers here, and yes it's monthly pricing. The cost can relate to if you want a box or just rent a server.

What bunster said, it's so you can't just change server if someone finds your camp or vehicle. And the first part made no sense the uk1 that isn't locked? wait for that one to become unlocked?

I can't find this option and as 1.7.1 there's a lot of invisible people on my servers who can kill others without being seen, is there anyway to restrict it so only users with the latest beta patch can join?
