No your character is stored on the master database, doing anything not on an official DayZ server will hae no effect.

The only official whitelist is for servers gaining access to the main database, it has nothing to do with players.

Well rocket has never said what the Z stands for, and DayI doesn't have the same ring to it, makes it sound like some Apple rip off. What stops them from drinking from water sources such as lakes? Just because you don't see infected do it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
