I've bee playing DayZ for about a week now and have yet to be killed by another player. Except this one time, on my friends private server, he was being a dick so I shot him in the leg with my revolver. He turned and shot me in the face. Other than than, nothing. Been fired upon at least a dozen times but I just stop, drop and roll into the bushes. I once heard a sniper shot go whizzing by me, thoguth it was a fly and carried on strolling along until a team mate shouted "GET THE FUCK DOWN YOU C*NT!" Maybes it's newbies luck I dunno, but I don't feel snipers are a "problem." -
Whilst trying to retrieve my corpse at the Stary' military tents, I was sitting in the tree line to the north watching the fence checking for zombie spawns, when I see a face looking right back at me. Not a player, not a zed... but a motherfucking wild boar! He was just standing stock still, gazing right at me. It made me feel really uneasy. I watched him for a while and when I decided to move, he turned and ran aross the military camp, alerting every zed in the vicinity. Pig sentry... who knew?

Rockets has said himself, you can use any weapon you can find. If however, an admin asks you to drop it, I would comply. Don't get attached to weapons others have hacked in. Personally, I wouldn't of even picked it up. -

I never loot cycle, I go to a place, take what I need and move on. Loot cycling is abusing a game mechanic IMO and you should drink fiery piss for doing it!

I spent days alive, got all the gear I wanted. My faveourite primary, second faveourite pistol, enough medical supplies to give rhinoplasty to a cow when *hive reset* I was so mad, then my first find was a tool-box, shortly followed up about 20 minutes later with .... my faveourite primary. After an hours play ack to exactly where I was, sans compass but meh, I use the sun when it's out.

Admin announced a Hive reset today, something to do with someone hacking in helicoptors. It's a shame we all had to lose everything but hoepfully it'll be more stable. -

Upon further thought and discussion with team mates, the best way to handle the inventory would for the herbs to be collected in a seperate pouch. This would be located on your tool belt, you would access it the same way you would a pack. Also needed would be a mortar and pestle, which could also go into the tool belt or in the side inventory.
