The secret to driving an ATV is never to press turbo button (E), except when on mainroads. I find it to be the best vehicle in the game, especially right after server-restarts.

The Money-system in Wasteland is a pretty good idea. It allows you to buy stuff in stores who are ran by AI. In order to stimulate fair trading one can make it so that gold is not lootable on a dead body. However, I dont think our 'Realism fanatics' would appreciate this.

Driving along the coast in a caravan of cars. There's 6 of us, armed til the teeth, 2 offroads and one Ural. We meet a newly spawned and tell him to get in the back of the Ural and not to try anything funny. The plan is to drive from Kamenka to Berezino, pick up as many newly spawned as we can and execute them in Berezino. We drive along, fight, kill some more people, etc. All this time our prisoner had the chance to excape, but he didnt. Meanwhile over TS the rest of our group decides to join us, we have no idea where they are. As we drive past Elektro all of a sudden 2 cars appear straight ahead of us. Someone screams 'Enemies straight ahead'. Everyone jumps out and start firing, and this huge firefight takes place. Nobody knows who is who anymore and starts killing their own. Turns out the 2 cars were the rest of our group trying to join our quest. Theres more then 10 fully geared dead bodies in the middle of the road with the best guns and gear one could wish for. For some reason none of us survived. Except our bambi prisoner, he's still sitting in the back of the Ural.

I play on the same server as you, and its definetely the best one out there. I have experienced some incredible things here.. However, There's an important rule you have to keep in mind though; 'Always pay your taxes'. The Tax-Ural can be found in Cap Galova, where you are expected to put anything of value in it. Those that dont pay their taxes get whacked and humped after death. Dont believe the stuff on your TV because there's no glory in rape.

Zombie spawn mechanism has to be timebased instead of proxomity. Problem is that the zombies are merely a threath when you first start playing. Zombies have to be harder to beat. And once you kill them, they dont respawn immediately but after 10-15 minutes or so. This way players will have to work together to clear area's from zombies so they can get to their loot. And killing zeds will be much more rewarding then stealthmode, because you get a timewindow to do some free shopping. And in stealth you have a bigger chance to die once seen, since there are more zombies and harder to beat. Also, would be fun to run into a town full of dead zombies and track players this way.

The biggest surprise for me in this update is that horses and magic will be available in the standalone. I have always wanted to ride a unicorn!

Everytime I find a chopper, first thing I do is fly across the north and west ends of the map. Tents are vehicles can be spotted real easy this way and I dont think anywhere on the map is 'safe'. Its the reason I dont make bases anymore, which is a pitty because that's the only thing which gives purpose to the game. The big plus in Panthera is the fact that a lot of structures and compounds can be closed down with tanktraps and wirekits in a way that its hard to get in. I had a lot of tents there which were never discovered/stolen in a period of 2 months.

This option is allready available in Taviana (dotcom version) and it's a nice and simple feature.

I can tell you something about the Tumblr update which was just announced; Rocket is gonna reveal that the SA was just a hoax and that he made a lot of money betting his friends that he could start his own sect!

Unless you wear a ghillie suit, since it's made from an ancient fabric which can cause you to die in one server and survive in another. #StringTheory
