Quarters are pretty standard. I highly doubt they would refer to them in those terms if they meant something different. Thats like saying we don't know their definition of "day"... it's pretty well universal.

Necrobumping here because some time has gone by. I had a look at the developer's 2015 roadmap that was posted on DayZTV. FYI, we're 2 weeks away from the middle of Q3 (consisting of July, August and September). It would seem that development has fallen well behind the projections of the roadmap. Will this result in roadmap features being dropped, or further extension of development time?

Nope. You'll just split and fracture the community into little niche servers that wont ever have healthy populations because everyone is playing their own version of DayZ. Exactly what happened to the mod.

If you get it now, it should be to participate in the testing and development process. This is what you have to click on every single time you "play" DayZ during it's development. If that doesnt sound appealing, don't buy it. Wait for it to be released.

I am almost certain a simple scroll of the mousewheel reveals the menu on the left where you can turn on your headlamp or flashlight.

I would expect a nice, proper .pdf user manual when the game goes to 1.0. Easy enough to add to, should changes be made. Its not like you're printing them like the old days, as rad as that was. -
Indeed. Kerbal Space Program went from Alpha at 0.24 to Beta 0.90 in one patch.

Mini 14 is a great gun, step-grandpa had the Rach Rifle version. We would plink with it up in NH. Lots of fun, would be great to have in the game. More civilian, less military in general would be good.

Running: 1) As in character moving forward without any input? 2) As in, whenever you press W, you character is sprinting instead of jogging?

I think they added rolling rounds. Silent roll is Arma. Crawling on your belly while toggling walk instead of run is iirc the quietest approach method.
