Also, never get attached to your gear. My buddies and I had a 5-tent camp full of everything you could imagine... And the owner of the server shut it down, it hasn't been up for days. I also made a 2-tent camp which mysteriously lost everything in 20 minutes after I filled it. Yes, I saved them, no server didn't restart. At this point I debate the point of even having a tent. I can carry more ammo and supplies than could possibly ever use, and investing hours into building a very fragile surplus is looking less and less useful.

I don't use it either; the layout does look awful as well.

I have been looking all over for one of those. To me, who kind of RP's surviving on one's own, a nice deer hunting rifle like this is about the best I would have on me irl. The double barrel shotgun seems pretty cool too. I kind of find it silly that everyone rocks automatic military grade weapons. I guess that's the PvP aspect, which I'm not too interested in either.

I'm lucky if pages will even load without giving me website is unreachable messages and SQL errors. I think the forum needs a better server. Forum software that allows embedded YT vids to be viewed on an iPad or iPhone would be nice too.

How do you check? The debug menu resets to zero every time I spawn in. I've been told that somewhere the proper number is being recorded, but I don't know how to view it. Ghille suit perhaps?

Is it the bus? For the bus you have to get in it, then get in the back seat. I think all the others are accessible from the outside.

I was wondering this myself, especially after seeing the DayZ mod page which prominently displays generic versions of beans and soda. Now that a profit is to be made with the standalone, Rocket and BI would be best to figure out what these companies would want. They probably already have. I imagine the Coca-Cola and Pepsi brands would not like being in the game together. Depending on their reactions, one or the other may want exclusivity in the game. "Make us the only soda or you'll get a copyright infringement case." I wonder if BI (or any game company for that matter),pays some kind of royalties to the gun manufacturers to use their copyrighted weapons? I remember reading that EA has some agreement with Porsche that their cars can only appear in EA games... This can all be avoided of course if we just have generic beans, cola, pasta etc.

Hello, I think this is the right place for this... Anyway, my buddies and I have been playing regularly on US 1694. Yesterday we noticed it is down, has a red ping of 10,000 in DayZ Commander etc. It still is not up today, and has probably 35 hours or so worth of total downtime. Is it common for servers to disappear, or have prolonged downtime like this? I ask because we have a fair amount of time invested and gear saved on it. Says it is hosted by Nick on dayzhosting.com if that info is of any use. Thanks!

I can try to meet up with you, but I'm having some issues of my own atm. Due to some tent funkiness, I am now out of water, though I do have some food.
