I remember wanting to only sport the black & black outfit. This would've been 1.7.2.6. I found that it just almost rerolled the dice for the civies, meaning sometimes youd get it and sometimes youd get the tan and blue etc. im not at home so i cant try it right now.

I asked about this a couple months ago. I found that it did not work.

I recall reading somewhere that the flashlight didn't work on the gun. Has that been rectified?

I agree that its much more likely, to be sure. I have been hacked, twice I think, over the course of many many hours of gameplay. Both times I had top-level gear, and I look at it as sort of a blessing; keeping the game fresh for me and causing me to re-equip again. Game gets a little boring when you're lonewolfing, have 3 tents full of gear and 2 vehicles all to yourself.

I play for a few hours every day and I stick to 2 or 3 public hive servers that I've found to be good. I log into one and play on it for the night unless there is lag or whathaveyou.

Right, but at this point, you have an overwhelming ratio of off-topic posts and very very few about actually doing an meetup. I see pony drawings, pony memes, pony videos, and the very rare "hey I'm a brony, someone come play the game with me" posts, which frankly, doesn't belong in this forum either. Its more about a double-standard of sorts. Many threads get graveyarded or moved to other forums in the blink of an eye, yet this thread (which has very little to do with a general discussion of DayZ) stays on the main forum for the game for months on end, seemingly for no purpose other than to have cutesie back and forth banter between brony posters. I don't know if you guys are padding post counts or what, but its difficult for me to see a point to this thread anymore, or why it hasn't been moved to the off-topic, or group recruitment section of the forum. Speaking of the rules of the forum, I would think this thread belongs elsewhere: Its the same reason I actually use the "report" feature on all those posts by the spam-bots. The action of reporting them serves no use to me whatsoever, save from keeping the DayZ forums which I enjoy about things that actually relate to DayZ.

I have a sneaky suspicion that if there wasn't a "brony" mod, that this thread would've been moved or closed a long time ago. I see literally page after page of off topic posts, having nothing to do with a meetup, and the event this was intended to promote ended up with 4 people attending. All respect intended, time to give it a rest perhaps?

Indeed. I have stumbled on both an infinite ammo dupe and an entire-inventory dupe. I think we have to wait for standalone to fix these where weapons and items etc will have their own unique id's as opposed to just being item X, Y or Z.

I think as close as you're going to get with a general consensus is "private hive" servers. There are so many servers to play on (public and private hive), there isn't just one that everyone uses.

I have never played a private hive and I haven't had much in the way of issues whatsoever. It is definitely not the only way to go.

I wouldn't be happy, but I wouldn't quit. I play mostly in 3rd person and go into 1st when shooting.

You could also spread the range of bandit / hero... Requiring +/- 10,000, helping to assure that a hero or bandit has properly earned that kit.

I must've read that wrong then. Later he does say he wants rocket to make the game he wants, but obviously there is motivations to this thread.

So you want rocket to switch to a game mode for standalone which has already proven itself to be unpopular?
