I spawned at the coast at Boye on my first Taviana run as well. I ran to boye proper and looted the smokestacks and found an ak-74 with 2 mags. I looted the rest of that town, deerstands on the way to the next town, and ran to Sabina (larger town where the above screenies are from). I have yet to run into a player, though I heard gunshots in Sabina. I found some decent gear in Sabina, but just like an Alice pack and various food, compass, matches etc. I found the experience to be right in line with what I was expecting. You didn't have to loot all that top level gear of the player you killed you know.

What's the difference between the two versions? I tried Taviana yesterday and was really enjoying the city, despite the very long straight streets. It felt like being in a real city to some degree. Videos were great, even though I couldn't understand the language. So nice to see them smiling and their families in the background smiling too. Martin's dad looks so happy and proud. I wish I could buy these guys a beer.

Man, you gotta feel sorry for the poor schlep who was trying to have a fair fight there... he probably had no idea he was playing against a guy that was so weak that he had to resort to ESP hacks to best him.

I don't its funny necessarily, it's just your playstyle and in a sandbox game, you're entitled to it.

It's Balota Buddies' US46 Whitelisted server. There are 5 new barracks between the hangars and ATC, and an additional 3 barracks further east.

Great video! :thumbsup: God, I hate the sound of my voice. :wacko: It was cronik's 2nd day playing Arma/DayZ. He was the guy who didn't really know directions when we're asking about the enemy behind the ATC. The enemy was south of the ATC, coming up the hill, but cronik had neither a compass, nor the airfield layout memorized yet. I left the cover of the barracks to go back there and help him, but he got the kill on Devin without any assistance. Nice work, bro. I was in between barracks when the first shot rang out, and I immediately took cover in barracks #5. As the fight progressed, and we kept seeing the baddies on the west side of the airfield, I hopped from barrack to barrack until I was in #1, closest to the hangars. I was outside of the barracks leaning around the hangar trying to see the guy running on the west hill, but I see now, I was looking in the wrong place for him. The final kill that ended the firefight was made by me. I noticed the baddy laying down in the last room of barrack #5 with the door to the room closed, so I slow-crouch-walked down the corridor figuring he'd hear me and be ready, which he was. I opened the door with the scroll wheel while having my M14 in aim mode in 1st person, and as soon as I clicked the open door command, I leaned to the right and saw him looking right at me, 2 feet away. Several M14 shots to the face later, he was dead without him being able to take a certain-death lapua magnum shot at me. An imminent server restart added to the tension as there was less then 5 minutes before the server went down. What an end to the night, I was all jazzed with adrenaline and had a tough time winding down for bed after that! Awesome video FHB!

Funny, I just made another attempt to log in (hero skin) and got booted due to script restriction #40. Way to update your code, server admins. :rolleyes:
