Watch the video, then go in Arma 2 and look at Vybor.

Cammo pants, wool hat and hooded sweatshirt is scantily clad?
-
Clothing as seen by other players is one thing. Do not underestimate clothing and the attributes it has for you character and the environment too.

That was fun, I was the Asian woman in the camo pants.

how did people get SA invites for pre-alpha?
klesh replied to DropBearChick's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Awesomeness, mostly. -
I think the problem, and believe me I am not a programmer/Arma whiz or anything, is that do achieve what you're talking about, and at the same time provide thousands of them persistently in a game are really difficult things to do. You can have awesome zombies, but you can only have 5 of them on a screen at once, and they disappear after you kill them or somesuch (like games with more visceral zombies do). You can have hundreds of them milling around a town, but their quality attributes are proportionally reduced in order to provide those numbers. The eventual goal being the fine line between quality zombie and lots of them. I think that will take a great deal of tweaking and fixing and developing well into the alpha and beta stages of DayZ's development.

If only I looked that good in a dress irl.

If you're going to use it, at least type it correctly, ese.

To me thats something you'll want to experience for yourself. Why spoil it, its like looking at a lootmap and knowing the percentages of what gear is where. Just play! Ninja'd by steak.

The Steam chat for DayZ is pretty funny.

Good idea.

We can only discuss the things that are publicly available. Since everything you're talking about is from that video, they are up for discussion. What you mention as headache features can also be seen as survival features. Yes, you have a can of food, but you cannot open it, now you need to find a can opener. Of course it would take up an inventory spot, those decisions are part of the challenge. You saw a message about the character getting tired and rocket has also mentioned shoe degradation, yes. Once you find some things, you have to replace them after awhile or face the consequences. what happens (irl) if you buy a raincoat and you get a huge rip in it. You have to buy another one or fix it. Same idea here. Its not just gear up and now you're bored like it is in the mod. You have to make some tough decisions, do I take this xyz, or should I place it safe and use my inventory for abc. Same as in the mod, though now your decisions have greater bearing. How many times in the mod did you pick up a frag grenade? I, for one, would use that spot for something more useful. Same here. The idea of SA is that the ultimate challenge is survival and your body plays as much an antagonist as the zombies and other players. Now you have as an additional focus keeping your character warm and dry and well fed and healthy (like you would in real life).

I'm just saying... what has been confirmed. You have seen a picture which has: "You feel like taking a nap" on it. You have not seen sleeping. So what has been actually confirmed? The fact that you can feel like taking a nap. Any speculation beyond that is jumping to a conclusion.

Feeling like taking a nap confirmed.

You can. Someone on reddit managed to. Asked for sans serif.

NDA's went out months and months and months before Musty Gaming even existed. This gets into NDA realm for me, but just know its done completely differently from the way the mods does loots.

No, anyone who buys it does. Us cool kids get to be in the pre-alpha testing. :)

It's really a breath of fresh air. I've gotten the chance to chat with him directly over the past weeks quite a bit and he sounds like a really nice guy who doesn't BS. I would love to get a chance to meet with him someday and talk about a common interest, Everest. It's still in pre-alpha dude, plenty of time for that decision. No.

lol, no. They just walked and I didn't follow.

Translation - There was a small trip, walked in Zelenogorsk and dressed up. I found knife and jacket, and the guy - screwdriver. *I'm in red cap :)* I tried to go with them, but they wouldn't stop speaking Russian (which I don't speak), so it would've made travel tough. :P
