The old epipen in the SA was from the mod. It had no expiration date that was readable and looked like this: The new one with the exp date was added with .48 and look like this: Now, I'm saying that the fact that epipens are still usable means it isn't 2015. I have no idea what the effects of an expired epipen would be, but since they work fine in game I'll presume they are not past expiration. That should mean the game takes place up to 18 months, or 1.5 years before 2015; from July 2013 to December 2014 -

Like I stated the last time we had this thread, the epipen ingame has an expiration date of 2015 right on the label. The expiration period for EpiPen® auto injector is 18 months from the date of manufacture. -
Would've been alot more fun if this guy ran up, said he just got bit by a zombie and asked you to kill him before he turned infected. C'mon people, have some fun with it.

An easy way to remember it's orientation is that the flag is supposed to represent a field of yellow wheat with blue sky above it. -

So they've hired the mysterious "sound guy" that supposed to redo "all" the sounds in the game. We heard about him as a new hire, as he was getting up to speed in the office and then every mention of him and his work has vanished. It would be great to hear from this guy, hear what his approach to sounds will be, hear what he will tackle first. Maybe a devblog with nice video of him recording some sounds. I'd love to hear from the devs about why sounds from across the map are randomly played and what they're doing to fix that. I agree that sound is huge in a game like this, and it would be great to hear that status of the progress of it at present.

Don't neglect a stop at an apple tree to search for apples. 5-6 of them will get you set for a long run. When you get to a water fountain, drink 10+ times from it, until you show a bright green hydrated icon. Any and all fruit that isn't rotten, eat it as soon as you find it. Save cans until you have something to open them with as noted above. Go from town to town eating and drinking everything you see until you are hydrated, healthy & stuffed. At that point it is safe for you to venture off the beaten path and journey to your eventual target through the woods or whatever.

NE Airfield was made civilian, and the tent city south of Balota was moved. Myshinko has the Balota tents now and there is another mil area scheduled for north of that. General idea is that mil weapons are found on the west of the map, and spawning happens on the east.

I know the quote you're after, and it was with regards to server fps, which doesn't relate very well to client fps. -
The weapons and towns guys aren't the ones that fix the other things you mention.

I have a house in Gvozdno that I used to claim in the mod as belonging to me (my character). It's still there, though the roads have changed a bit. The view from the backyard is alot nicer now. I also enjoy relaxing at Prud.

I long for the day when the game is so brutal, survival so difficult, that you will actually be happy to see another player because it might increase your ability to stay alive for more than 30 minutes.

The server owner has to opt-in to persistence and perhaps many have not yet. I would hold onto your tent until you're positive a server is set up for persistence.
