Next time before approaching a crash site ask your friend to go check it out first. Or find someone else playing on the server have them try to loot it. If they get blown up you should then be in the clear, if they manage to loot the crash site successfully shoot them dead and pillage their body. Sure they may hate you after but once you have an FN FAL or M107 who needs friends? -
So uh... Apparently these are both going to be very real features in the stand alone. Pass the TP please. Im actually curious how diseases will effect game play. I understand ok you get sick you need meds but one of the major symptoms of both of these is poop, the liquid kind. How will one know which disease they actually have? Are all the diseases going to have the same fix? Discuss.

If disease is going to be rampant to the point where Rocket is actually naming the disease my assumption players will be able to produce meds in a lab to either prevent or heal you by collecting necessary ingredients. If its real hardcore and disease is to the point where its virtually unavoidable than hazmat suits should be available loot as a very rare clothing. Or simply up the amount of antibiotics found on the map....

No Heli Crashes on my (vilayer) server?

Hmmmm. As it is I dont see many crash sites on Namalsk. Not sure what the issue is or if there is one at all. Not much you would be able to do from the Vilayer server console. You could open a ticket with vilayer however I dont think there is much they can or will do. There may be a log you can check to see if there are actually some spawned but I dont have enough knowledge of log files or tables to be useful. Sorry. -

What makes you 100% certain there are no crash sites? Have you tried the basics like restarting the server or uninstalling and reinstalling the map? Also which map do you have currently installed? -

Personally, I think Rocket and co. keep their fingers on the pulse of the community. Theres a solid amount of info about the standalone already available on the forums. Perhaps reading some of those threads will ease your 'worrying' a bit. -

Yeah maybe if you assemble a lab you can collect certain ingredients to concoct medicines to cure diseases or create lethal poisons. I could see the wasteland medics or whatever their name is using a lab to maybe set up a hospital/trading post to make meds and help heal the world! give peace a chaaaaance

Im no expert but putting on a hazmat suit when you have diarrhea is probably not recommended. But hey to each his own.
