Not a knock on BI but they are not EA or Activision. If they wanted the free pub my guess is they would have responded to the emails sent to them already. -

Yeah I also side with those looking at this as an opportunity for creativity. Most of these companies will likely want a hefty sum of cash to use their products if they even consider it. Why waste the time or money? You can have things like Balota Beer, Cherno Cola Co., Green Mountain Tea, etc etc you get the idea. -

I think even those who would vote to keep the crosshairs if you told them well look if we remove it it makes ESP hacks more difficult they would say oh ok well remove it then.

Yeah... thinking about it... its always good to have options.

Would it be possible to have the CH active for say 8 hours game play? So for your first full day of playing as a bambi you have the crosshairs but once you cross that 8 hour bambi period CH will be removed. Sort of like taking the training wheels off your trike. This way you can still cater to the new player even if it is for a short period of time.

Dallas spends most of his DayZ time rolling around in the fields with bunny rabbits and chasing after cows. When he does run in to other survivors he offers to light them a campfire and serenade them with George Michaels songs. -
If you are new to computers I would highly advise you bring your computer to a professional or consider buying a new computer first before attempting to replace the cpu on your own.

Not necessarily. I enjoy playing with other players rather than looting alone. I also like running into people and the situations that can create. If you're playing on a massive map with 5 other players its a snoozer and incredibly boring IMO. -

Unless the server has a good amount of players on it Taviana is incredibly boring. If its a packed house it can be a lot of fun. -

I feel your pain OP. Well I felt your pain at one point in time. I urge you to try balotabuddies.net private white listed servers before giving up. White listed servers are not 100% sure to stop hackers but they have very active and knowledgeable admins handling their operations. There are also lots of veteran groups of players willing to help new guys get acclimated to the game. Again I cant promise you that you'll never run in to a hacker again but I urge you to give balotabuddies a shot at giving you the DayZ experience you want.
