  2. In dayz commander I get the info for all [??] puplic hive servers... this server has either just been restarted or it is not in a state that will allows you to play German servers down? or problem on my side? ty

  7. I use binoculars. The zoom in feature is for me not something like "eyes magically" for me it is concentration on some view points. :D This is sooooo realistic that you can concetrait on something. :P
  8. OP nice video. I am missing two keys in it. You can change fov ingame by Zooming in and out. Change key to zoom out. I prefer mouse 5.

    Before using trackIR I died maybe 10 times in my dayz time. Most of them lived some months. Using trackIR atm i die every day. :P Main hive = 6h?

    Bases are no "tiny hussein-esque holes in the earth". This is bigger I believe. I believe all want it bigger. Think most of us want no "global inventory" and want be scared in loosing of something or all. Hard to discuss without knowing what rocket wants. Want share some options. NPC´s are ok, when they are offline players. vehicles, tents Same rules like always. Tents works like cars. (no owner needed. Find them, loot them, grap them or destroy them) team bases (hypothetical) First ownership is the guy starting the base. Team bases are the same rules like no team bases. All depends on trust like outside. Ownership get lost when you die. The guy who have atm most equipment brought in the base get ownership. Ownership get lost when someone get 10x more equipment in the base than owner. This guy get ownership. Bases need recourses always from outside. Recourses/equipment can get broken by using them. Recourses/equipment have nothing to do with ownership. (Recourses/equipment have owners, must not be owner of the base) Owner can give away ownership for rooms. Same rules for rooms like bases. When you are in your base you have options what "profession" you are doing today ("profesions" like guard, medic, electrician and so on) and how you act. (profesions give you the skill to use "equipment" in the base) They act like this when you are offline in the base also. (you set them how to act) Nothing is save in the base, months of work can be destroyed. All items could be stolen/destroyd if your settings how to act are stupid (noob) or risky (expand base to fast). Other players can "work professions" in your base. (you set guard, medic, electrician and so on to "available" or give the "work profesions" someone directly) Offline "work professions" are always friendly to base. Other players can "sabotage" your base. Sabotage (destroy something / steal as many avatar can carry, get this way maybe ownership) influenced only the base not players. "Base owner" "work professions" offline / can get only knocked out and the better strategy / equipment wins (Equipment give you "the skill" to do something.) The dead of someone is only possibel when two players are online. "sabotage" possible by "work professions" and from outside. Caught "sabotage" never get access to benefits from this base again. Other players can "raid" the base. (destroy up to 100%, depens on explosiv items / steal as many avatar and cars can carry including owner vehicels, get this way maybe ownership) They win the "raid" when online and offline players all loosed. "Base owner" "work professions" online / normal pvp fight. "Base owner" "work professions" offline / can get only knocked out and the better equipment wins (weapons/bullet-proof vest and so on). Attacker get broken bones/damage/knockout/loose all equiped items involved in the raid (cars/weapons/clothing and so on) and never get access to benefits from this base again if he is loosing. A "raid" can only started from outside. Online "work professions" can "sabotage" at the same time and follow the rules of "sabotage". Other players can "get help" in the base. (never get caught "sabotage" "raid" in this base) Change items, get medic, get cars repaired and so on. (All dependent on owner settings and equipment. Equipment give you "the skill" to do something.)

    1.7.6 Cans and Drinks

    Let me say, for me all last patches was awesome. This patch have also awesome things. Z hits on bike, crossbow quiver and much much more. You should always think about... benifit for 99% or not. A "salut" in this way is not needed. Look at there beans. :P All crying people "salut" at the same time for all the hard work. And again. "salut" for this decision. For me is it not a benifit putting not existing objects in game. We have Coca-cola and the rest. Thats fine for me. A R4Z0R drink might work as energy drink. They are in germany the slimmer cans... and they say u run faster with them. :P

    I believe that I need play "Space Station 13" first to get an idea of the direction rocket wants to go. It's easier to discuss this topic after playing it i think.

    The world continues to live when I am offline. I love this part of dayz. Cars, tents etc do not need new rules. I think that this should not be any different at untergoundbases. Undergroundbases should be invisible after a short time. Let's say in the first stage you can see a hole with a ladder. After some more work on it, you can hide the hole. (optically invisible) It is only findable by knocking the ground. (no ownership needed) Seeing someone going in hole, then knocking the ground, then finding and enterable. NPC, pleas noooooo. Some Traps yes. This way the base is a part of the living world. This way the base is a relatively safe location.

    Ethics of the common player

    I killed only one time a "no Bandit". Was my first kill and only a counterstrike reflex. :P Ah no, was shooting two "no Bandits". The other one was a friend of me, he was talking ego shit over 2 hours. He was no benifit for the group. He had only his own advantage in the sense. (some ppl was ill and needed hospital. "I don´t go one hour south for them." Was also reflex. Feel sorry for both of them still today.
  23. I like the idea of keys. But I do not have the stated reasons. How bring car keys in the game? Fresh spawned cars: The car keys could be loot in one of the zombies nearby. Maybe 10 percent chance that one zombie nearby have a key. What are the benifits? Bonus for cars with car keys: Other players need to open the car destroy glasses first. With tool box 15 seconds needed to start car first time. Without tool box 1 minute needed to start car first time. The alarm system sounding when windows are broken. If Zombies nearby they get attention and aggro. So, now steal my car when I loot the store.
