Hey @ryan.carter1353, so I and everyone else that sees this thread understands your problem. You were starting Dayz SA for the first time right ? And then you plug the internet cable out while Steam was doing those steps after download before Dayz Launches ? Have you tried to verify your files on Steam ? Go to your library -> Right click on Dayz -> Properties -> Local Files Tab - > Verify Integrity of Game Cache Maybe is a steam problem try to reinstall steam. Report back. Keep on playin! Icanfish

Hey there @Longhorn4606 that issue is not new, I remember a similar issue in dayz mod. If you haven't tried this please do and report back. Windows 10 & 8(8.1): Windows key + X -> Command Prompt (Admin)-> and enter in command line "winsock reset" and click enter. (without the quotes) and reboot your pc. Windows 7 : Start -> On search box type cmd and run as admin -> and enter in command line "winsock reset" and click enter. (without the quotes) and reboot your pc. Like I said if you and everyone else haven't tried this have a go this had sort the problem to some people. Keep on playin! Icanfish

Hey everyone, before we talk about the server let me give you a bit of background my name is Fish I work as a Network Manager/Programmer and I used to mod maps for Dayz servers (loot, new areas, dynamic events) stuff like that. Now I am back after a long time away from managing a Dayz server. I'm have been an admin for a long time in a few server in dayz mod I hope Modding tools comes out quickly :) . About the Murphy's Tavern : - 24/7 Admin via skype, steam or TS3 - 30 slot server - 4 hour restart so the cars work all the time (cars stop working after 6 hours known bug) - Murphy's Tavern TS3, we have a small team speak and if we get a lot of ppl on we will upgrade it :) - Future Server Events (Man Hunt, TDM, Races) If the server get a good pop we will be doing events at weekends :) - Modding when tools get release for sure. :thumbsup: This our server it's not a big deal yet if we get big enough more servers will be adquire or raise the pop cap of this same one :) Server Details : :beans: Address: 81.19.208.15 Port: 2500 Status: Alive :beans: My Details : Steam ID : Icanfish Skype : Icanfish TS3 details will be given at server login :P Thanks to everyone if you join us or not keep on gaming :beans: Best Regards Icanfish

Alright tell your friend to try this out : On steam : Right click on Arma 2 / Properties / Local Files / Verify Integrity of game cache / Wait a couple of minute - If there is any file missing steam will download it back and fix it . Do this for every arma 2 expansion too. Tell him to try this out then report back :) Hope it works Best Regards Icanfish

Hey Toca349 Listen it can be hardware malfunction and that particularly one from your GPU. But it can be from your Arma/Dayz . If this freeze only happens on playing Dayz I would recommend you to do a file check if you done that already do a file check on your Arma 2 (Operation Arrowhead, and expansions). Also do you have Arma 2 Beta installed ? Bensticles have a point to you should check the temps. Best Regards Icanfish

Hello again sorry for this big delay.... Uh... Have you tried to do a Clean install of dayz ? Never know what can happen, if is something there causing your problem. It's really kinda wierd, your router uses any kind of firewall system ? Keep Surviving :beans: Icanfish

Well your FPS drop prob, happens only in dayz? or in Arma 2 too? Happens in all the servers? Hello xBlurHitz, well it can be a lot of things that can be messing with your ping, for example any file sharing program you got installed in your machine ? It can be Internet apps? Because it seems something is eating a lot of bandwidth... But you saying too your pc run's arma 2 with no worries, In Multiplayer? It can also be something on your router/modem that's causing that problem. Have you checked your firewall? Got any Firewalls or just windows one? Keep Surviving :beans: Icanfish
