I am sitting down to hopefully play this mod for the first time tonight. I am walking in with this attitude. Seems to be no other way to go.

I am totally new to the mod other than looking stuff over through this forum and none of the others, including the Wiki. I am looking for a server close to home (Minnesota) so this seems like a good solution for a first run-through. This is my first post here on these forums too. Thanks!
