Here's a quite from Rocket in an interview; "I've pitched the idea to DayZ to other studios and I was laughed at me when I was working in the videogame industry before I left to go into the army. The view was that what gamers want, isn't what they want, and I think that's wrong. There's a lot of dumbing down, with some exceptions. People are prepared to feel real emotions. They want to identify with their characters and live stuff out with them." Basically, Publishers are hugely bureaucratic and disconnected from their market. -

This will (obviously) add scarcity to ammo. In terms of rebalancing, it might be worth implementing ammo conversions between other compatible types of rounds (in addition to .45 ACP).

This sounds dangerous; [94002] Fixed: PlayerId changed for users using Reinforcements or Arma X Anniversary edition to prevent PlayerId conflicts. DayZ is using PlayerID for your persistence, that could be your problem.

I read in an interview that DayZ works on all the maps. It's a possibility but atm there are more pressing issues.

A backpack with the Ghillie would only be useful if backpacks reliably stayed put when you removed them. Meaning you could leave your pack hidden somewhere and go off and snipe. -
