I fueled up a motorbike and took it for a spin. In any city, the zeds would not spawn until I hopped off the bike, even at a heli crash @ the NW airfield. In Novy there was a player character just standing in the open, frozen in place. The same thing happened in Elektro where I saw two more players frozen like that. In both cases I got off the bike and said something over direct comm, but their skeletons just stood there. The zeds chased me, but ignored the frozen players. Has this happened to anyone else? Edit: The server was 173.199.89.80:2302.

Running low on ammo here. Have blood bags, morphine, pain killers to trade.

Same here. Didn't start until BE 1.177 was applied. It froze a minute ago (edit: for the 3rd or 4th time), I logged back in and the bicycle I was riding disappeared.

" @ the NW corner of 053057 in a dense cluster of trees - a tent w/an M14 Aim + ammo, and a Bizon PP-19 SD w/ 2 mags. US77 @ 072003 - a scripter's camp w/ 4 or 5 tents and a few vehicles full of banned weapons, some satchel charges, extra tents.

I'm looking to get on the list. I need elementary items like a map, matches, compass, binoculars, hunting knife, water bottles, starter pistols/rifles + ammo, and (always) 200-rd SAW mags. For trade I have 3(ish) tents stocked with a good bit of stuff: DMR w/4 mags, antibiotics, morphine, painkillers, blood bags, 60+ SD mags, NVGs, GPS units, etc. I'll trade NVGs for a book of matches; a rangefinder for a hunting knife; 3 stanag sd mags for a compass, and so on. I'll take all the tents I can get. My current MO: Once I'm good to go, I stock up on everything a fresh spawn needs. I place this stuff into tents in Cherno & Elektro on high pop servers full of spawn killers, loot the surrounding buildings and stock the tents until they're full (or until I die). That may be a weak MO as bandits could get the loot first, but it's my thing for now. Any Heroes who need stuff, feel free to contact me. After surviving for a few days I decided to join a low pop server to gear up decently - I still had an Enfield and a regular pack, no knife or matches, but enough food and coke. I crawled close to the southwestern barracks at the NW airfield and watched the windows for movement. A minute or two passes. Seeing nothing, I crawl slowly forward and line myself up to crawl straight in. As soon as I hit X to crouch a ghillied player appears at the end of the hallway (either spawned there or teleported, idk), just behind a machine gun on the floor. Before I could even get crouched I'm insta-killed with a loud crack of his rifle that made me jump in surprise. I had just opened my first beer to settle in for a night of gearing up, but no. "DENIED."

My first time playing was on a server with side channel so everyone was chatting. A bandit shot a survivor in the legs outside of the church (in Cherno I believe). I called out to the injured guy on direct, offering morphine, but the shooter was close enough to hear and kill me. I respawned nearby and ran across Marcus, who taught me how to give a blood transfusion and told me where I could find a silenced MP5. I got hooked on DayZ because of the experience. Thanks Marcus!

^^ What Sula said. I got a temporary Admin Ban at US303 because I logged in with an AS50 TWS (I didn't know it was a hacked weapon at the time). The ban was lifted, but yeah, read the wiki and avoid hacked weaponry.

I have no DayZ gaming friends yet, and I am no bandit. Here's another scripter camp on US3393 I found a few minutes ago. It's a Ural and about half a dozen tents (far NW of Petrovka @ elevation 370(+/-)): I don't satchel charge scripters' camps, or lie in wait for fellow survivors. I take what I need from their camps and leave. Of course, if someone else cares to unload all the hacked goods and screencap a moment of satchel devastation, more power to ya. :beans: I will post here when I find scripter camps. Avoid or slay the spawn killers and stay alive friend! EDIT: I did satchel one particularly nasty camp.

Well, forget the US303 loot. I got banned from there because I found an AS50 TWS on 199.116.118.53:2322 (Brasil Moitas Beta fix v1.7.2.6/Beta 96895) and brought it to my latest tent @ US303. Due to the ban, I tried registering with the US303 site with my Steam ID, but it didn't work for some reason (it needs "STEAM:x:x:xxx~, which I don't know how to get). No idea how to get that despite Steam Support's automated answer of logging into a "Valve multiplayer game." The only Valve games I own are ARMA and Red Orchestra. Once I find another tent and store all this loot I got I'll announce what server it's on + the location so you guys can get some good stuff. Even though I added that "Brasil" server to my favorites in DayZ Commander - after their AS50 AWS got me banned from US303 - I logged back into "Brasil" and satchel charged the camp I found the hacked item in. Stole a remaining ATV, took off, saved the ATV, and logged out. Now DZC won't even let me click the "Brasil" server name. I tried the arrow keys too, but cannot select that server. If this post should be in a different place, my apologies to the admins. EDIT: I found the illegal loot @ grid 073004. EDIT: Now I can login to "Brasil" again. Don't know what the issue was, but it doesn't exist anymore.

It's west of Pustoshka at the top of that wooded hill. - Another tent on US1960 at grid 022035 beside a small pond (far to the NW), stocked with an Mk 48 Mod 0 w/600 rounds of ammo. I'll probably be dead soon, so get it while it's hot! :)
