When I first got Dayz I tried to download and install it manually. Didn't work. So I just got dayz commander and updated Dayz, Arma II, and the Dayz Commander Client. I didn't have to uninstall the first Dayz file I downloaded, you shouldn't either. Just get on dayz commander and update the three things I listed.

No I have only messed with a few bindings, none of which were the "L" key. I have problems with my char occasionally lowering his weapon for no apparent reason when I change stances (as if I've double pressed "control") - around the time I have that happen is usually when the flashlight/weapon light doesn't work. All in all, not that big of a deal though. Like I said, I usually just switch weapons then switch back and that clears it up.

Flashlights and weapons w/ flashlights are buggy for me too. All I've ever had to do was switch weapons with the scroll wheel and reselect it.

Call me crazy but every time I've checked the clouds move directly East on chernarus. If I had a server I'd make them go NW just to troll the shit but I'm pretty sure most server owners don't do that.

Just now noticed this bit. Probably PSU failure. I'm not a hardware expert but I'd guess you need a newer, better one. Edit: Only get PSUs that are 80 Plus Gold certified or better. Otherwise you get wonky results. If a company claims 700 watt system but it isn't 80 Plus cert then it could be that the thing typically runs at 400 but under certain conditions may hit 700 if you rub it right or some retarded shit.

Download IBT (Intel Burn Test) CPUID (temp monitoring program) and run a few tests with the IBT. It sounds like hardware failure. Ideally, IBT halts the test before actual failure and lets you know that your system is unstable. The idea here is: Use a program that will simulate full-load situations that will then tell you whether or not your hardware configuration is stable. Cause it sounds like your setup is being pushed too far on your current settings. Alternatively it could be your power supply. You may not be getting enough juice out of your PSU to support your shit. You can always increase voltages via the BIOS though this will increase heat output... so make sure it's not a hardware failure first - if it's hardware failure and you increase voltages that won't help a thing.

I don't run the servers so killing the server isn't an option for me. The server is still pretty quiet and I think that is a large part of why it's still peaceful... they just made it this month. As for everyone being friendly on Balota Buddies servers in general.... lul

Do you use Dayz Commander? If so, just choose "hide unofficial" in filters. But if you do you'll miss out on the hot sex that is the Balota Buddies community.

Can't use the double-click feature for your eyes only. You can, however, shift-click anywhere on the map to make a waypoint that only you can see. It also gives you a distance to the target.

Depends on the vehicle/tent reset time. Not 100% sure but I think default reset time is 7 days? Reset timers take your shit if you don't use it for a long enough period of time - if you don't know the reset time just use your shit every day and you should be fine. At least until someone finds your camp or the server shits on your gear and it all disappears anyways.
