The first item on Phooey's list doesn't apply to PvP. If you take it slow you're just a slower moving target. Unless you're sniping.

1. Confirmed on all the servers I've ever played on. 2. Never heard of a limit, though I'd imagine it would cap at some ridiculously negative number. 3. Usually your skin won't change from the bandit skin unless you die. That's how it works with the hero skin, anyways. Once you die your new humanity-based skin should pop in. 4. In the community I'm a part of I've seen people with less than -100,000 humanity. So yes.

You're clearly whitelisting with some shit outfits. Go for balota buddies. Incredibly high rep private hive community (2000+ members) that includes many of the admins/moderators here on the forums. The admins don't take getting killed personally, shit, some kid was bragging on the BB forums the other day how he murdered the creator of the community on one of the australian servers. Steak and Potatoes is the US head admin and, for some odd reason, loves getting killed by other players. BB has multiple servers: vanilla, weapons +, Namalsk, Celle, 2017. Whitelisted/private hive or public. Aus, UK, and US servers. Get whitelisted for one, get whitelested for all. It's not an issue with Dayz, it's an issue with the servers you're choosing. I don't think killing zombies effects your humanity regeneration. By default, on most servers (if not all) your humanity regenerates over time up to a max of 2500; after which point you'll have to increase it by helping people out (administer blood bags, painkillers, etc.).

Depends how much sniping you do. I think they're next to invaluable if you do any serious sniping. They make you virtually invisible if you use cover properly and don't aggro zeds when you shoot.

There is no holo SD in the standard loot tables... only standard m4a1 cco SD. And as for performance in Dayz I can't even tell a difference between the two, practically speaking.

Out of control on public servers. Hence, why I gave up on them and joined the BB community. Never went back. Well, not entirely true. BB hosts 1 public server as well and I go on a rampage on there occasionally.

Don't waste your time on Public Hives. If you do, live out of your pack (no tents, vehicles, etc.) and abort as soon as you hear the word "hacker" on side chat. Find good weapons and ammo in barracks / heli crashes. I don't even mess around with weapons in towns any more. Always keep at least 1 morphine auto-injector on you at all times. Always keep at least 2 bandages on you at all times. play on the Balota Buddies private hives. Too many benefits to list. Easily the most expansive private community among American/Australian/UK servers. Click on my sig and go to the whitelist section. The whitelisting process is intensive in order to keep hackers out.

Depends. Was it private hive? The hives I play on have custom loot tables and the 636C SD is a legitimate drop. If it was public hive then yes, I believe it was hacked in.

Click on my sig. Balota Buddies has already been mentioned but it hasn't been mentioned enough. Very stable, 6 servers atm (spread across the US, UK, and AUS). Easily over a dozen mods/admins who are very active. Active TS channel. Intensive whitelisting process that keeps hackers out. Edit: As for "vanilla" there are some modifications but they are very limited. There are barracks added to NEAF so not everyone is bottlenecked in NWAF and there is an expanded loot table that includes previously inaccessible weapons (g36, L11115a3 Lapua Mag sniper, no more as50, L85, etc.).
