I don't think killing zombies effects your humanity regeneration. By default, on most servers (if not all) your humanity regenerates over time up to a max of 2500; after which point you'll have to increase it by helping people out (administer blood bags, painkillers, etc.).

Depends how much sniping you do. I think they're next to invaluable if you do any serious sniping. They make you virtually invisible if you use cover properly and don't aggro zeds when you shoot.

There is no holo SD in the standard loot tables... only standard m4a1 cco SD. And as for performance in Dayz I can't even tell a difference between the two, practically speaking.

Out of control on public servers. Hence, why I gave up on them and joined the BB community. Never went back. Well, not entirely true. BB hosts 1 public server as well and I go on a rampage on there occasionally.

Don't waste your time on Public Hives. If you do, live out of your pack (no tents, vehicles, etc.) and abort as soon as you hear the word "hacker" on side chat. Find good weapons and ammo in barracks / heli crashes. I don't even mess around with weapons in towns any more. Always keep at least 1 morphine auto-injector on you at all times. Always keep at least 2 bandages on you at all times. play on the Balota Buddies private hives. Too many benefits to list. Easily the most expansive private community among American/Australian/UK servers. Click on my sig and go to the whitelist section. The whitelisting process is intensive in order to keep hackers out.

Depends. Was it private hive? The hives I play on have custom loot tables and the 636C SD is a legitimate drop. If it was public hive then yes, I believe it was hacked in.

Click on my sig. Balota Buddies has already been mentioned but it hasn't been mentioned enough. Very stable, 6 servers atm (spread across the US, UK, and AUS). Easily over a dozen mods/admins who are very active. Active TS channel. Intensive whitelisting process that keeps hackers out. Edit: As for "vanilla" there are some modifications but they are very limited. There are barracks added to NEAF so not everyone is bottlenecked in NWAF and there is an expanded loot table that includes previously inaccessible weapons (g36, L11115a3 Lapua Mag sniper, no more as50, L85, etc.). Other than that everything is pretty vanilla. Oh, and you can do custom faces - I'm a blow up doll:

If you use FRAPS just look and see what the hotkey is, for my release it was F10 If you use steam default key should be F12, but you have to run Dayz Commander through steam in order to get that to work (should be in the Dayz Commander tools/settings) If you use the windows prt scr function you have to have a program that will accept the image. I think you can use something as simple as MS Word, then right click the image and 'save as'. I used to use 'prt scr' in conjunction with Gimp (free photoshop clone) - I would hit 'prt scr' then simply right-click/paste into a new Gimp template.

Not sure what you're getting at. The friendly/bandit ratio is a little out of whack. Just looking for more KOS assholes to come stir things up a bit ;)

Or you can join Balota Buddies and hop on the US server. We have around 10 or so guys we regularly roll with and we can rally many more if you feel that is insufficient.
