balota buddies. click on my sig. Register on the forums then click on the "get whitelisted!" link and follow all the directions. The long whitelisting process is part of what keeps hackers out. The other part is having 5 billion mods/admins.

This is exactly what USS (USMS) does. They have a massive mil-sim group. They play arma 2 standard and Dayz. I'm not in their group, but some of their guys play on our US server.

Alright, let's put this to bed. Hopefully the thread will get locked after I post this. You've been a member on BB since the 14th of this month. Therefore, you have certainly been a member there for a week (9 days, in fact). A couple days ago you started a thread "exposing" the power of the Admin CP in an attempt to start a fire.... funnily enough, everyone knows what Admins are capable of and nobody cares (unless they happen to play on a private hive where admins regularly abuse their powers) Yesterday you figured out that it was your own fault that you weren't getting whitelisted because you never submitted an application. You then submitted an application (app. 26 hours ago). You're angry magic hasn't been summoned and you are not whitelisted yet so you start a flame thread on the Dayz forums. Here's the best part: When you click on the "Get Whitelisted!" link on BB what is the first thing that comes up? A video with the words "Watch this before getting whitelisted" just below it. Had you watched the video (as you were directed to) none of this would have been an issue. You won't let us help you and then you get angry at us for not helping you. You are a confused individual indeed.

With your attitude I'm not too worried you didn't get whitelisted. For anyone else who has/had issues getting whitelisted (though you are rare exceptions): We apologize, we try to get people sorted as fast as possible (it usually doesn't take more than 30 minutes to an hour). If your problem persists send me a PM (or any other mod/admin) and we'll try to get you sorted ASAP.

Balota Buddies is about as active and clean as private hive communities get. Servers for Aus, UK, and US. Although if you're planning to play on the US server there are tons of helis on the map... If you can deal with that then it's actually a lot of fun, it makes running into other people much more likely.

As Inception said, these guys are legit. Assholes, but legit. We enjoy having them on the BB servers since they provide good firepower in large numbers. Additionally, Smith and I frequently engage in romantic banter. If you join them on Balota Buddies US46 you won't have a shortage of engagements, these guys are attacked by pretty much everyone on the server. Join them if you're not a wanker.

These days I prefer rolling in a group or with a partner. But when I started I had more fun running solo until I got the hang of things.

open avg Options > virus vault right click the "virus" flag for the dayz directory and hit "restore". I assume the directory itself is locked by AVG when it is flagged as a trojan, this is what I had to do to regain access to the directory.
