    Lets not make zombies with terminator strength

    I don't think this is working as intended, I'm fairly sure that if a model runs into you and the server lags and they run through you, you get hit like a truck. This happened to me in Stary while I was in a tent, the zombie just charged through the tent I was in and knocked me unconscious and took almost 5k blood off of me. Also had people with no weapon run into me and knock me unconscious and make me bleed.

  6. Right now in the current state of the game, stealthing has become next to impossible. The only way to get to point A to point B without being prone 100% of the time is to physically run there. And that's what everyone does, they just run to where they want and say fuck it to all the zombies that are chasing them because they can just run in a building and lose them. This is what "Stealthing" has degraded into. My suggestion is to revert back to the previous levels of sight and hearing but with 1 major addition to zombie AI, screaming. Screaming very loud and attracting all zombies within a relatively far radius. This is nothing new for zombie games, but I feel it has a special place in DayZ. The biggest problem I have with the new stealth is not the zombies themselves but the PvP side of quite literally running through town grabbing gear. You make yourself a huge target and if you are anywhere near the other guy it makes in next to impossible to not know where the guy zombies are running after is. This is not how people would act in a zombie apocalypse, they would be extremely careful not to aggro a single zombie, they would check corners, they would take time, and they would be careful as fuck about where they were and what they did. Previous to 1.7.1.1 stealthing was relatively easy and if you managed to aggro a zed or two it was no big deal, just run off in the woods and kill them. With this addition it would be like walking on eggshells, knowing that 1 wrong move could alert the whole town to your presence. I'm very interested to hear feedback on this idea, but I think it's fair to say that stealthing and zed mechanics/AI needs some reworking.
  7. It's interesting, i don't know about it though, you really need a pack in this game, the very limited on person inventory is next to nothing if you have a primary weapon with even a small amount of ammo for it.

    I don't know If it would be feasible to have 50 people running around leaving behind even half a kilometer long trails, it would be insanely stressful on the servers.

Its damn near impossible to get to the level some of the bandits are operating on now, I really like the Idea of spawning with less gear, but I think you took it a tad too far mate, I like the 1 band-aid/painkiller, but the flashlight is totally worthless. Bring back the makoroni, just give us 1/2 mags, I'd REALLY love to see this game turn into a turn zombie survival game where ammo is rare as fuck and actually debating whether it's worth a bullet instead of just running around shooting stuff. But right now it's damn near impossible. I'm all for making a hard game and all but all these faggots who keep spouting "It's not hard" and "Just player more stealthy" I'm pretty sure haven't died yet. Spawning in Elktro/Cherno/Bolota is the only real way to have a chance to survive and PEOPLE KNOW IT. I've been shot 3 times without a gun and trying to "Sneak" around zombies is not practical, the only way to do it is to start a zombie train and quickly sweep houses for guns. Needless to say this breaks immersion and is just all around fucking stupid when you ask yourself what you are doing. "I am quite literally running around a town aggroing everything just to find a way to defend myself from the things that are chasing after me.". And congratulations if you manage to find a gun on either someone's corpse or in a loot pile because this won't happen every time. Hell it's almost guaranteed not to happen if you spawn in a shitty town with 1/2 lootable buildings. It's breaking alot of things in the game and It needs to be reverted, I would agree with 1/2 mags, painkillers, and a band-aid because that actually makes me NEED to go find something. Also the Food/Water spawns are broken, but that actually made me think of what would really happen in a zombie apocalypse and I like the current system of finding next to no food/water at all even though it is not intended. Making grocery stores haves a medium chance for food/water and all residential buildings to have a low (1-3%) chance of spawning any would be a way to start ramping up the risk/reward system this game is severely lacking right now. TL;DR version: Makoroni with 1/2 mags PK and band-aid at spawn, make AMMO(Not guns)/Food/Water rarer than they are.

I've played this game for 200+ hours now and the only viable respawn points are elektro/cherno/bolota otherwise you get spotted by 1 zombie and you are just running around like an idiot until you get to a house 20 minutes later. Players with weapons don't care if you don't have any, I liked being a bandit before when players at least had some means of defense, but this is just slaughter. Also the "Stealth nerf" to crouch running that was so "Stealthy" hasn't been fixed so it's still only viable to prone and take forever to get where you need to go. I think we need to start out with a makoroni with 1/2 mags so It becomes more about conserving your ammo and choosing your shots wisely instead of just being overrun within seconds of joining the game. I do love the effort to try and make the game harder early on though.
