Hello, Based on the specs you posted you do not actually even have a graphics card in your computer. Intel HD Graphics means that your processor is used as a video card. Although it detects that you have 1.7GB you really only have around 128MB true video memory which is way too low for ARMA. Also, the i3 is not a very powerful CPU on its own and still is considered bare minimum for ARMA. The two things are the main reason why you are suffering with performance issues. Your RAM doesnt really make that big of a difference and you have plenty in your computer.

As CrunchyBacon stated you will definitely see an increase in performance over integrated. Although, this card isn't very powerful so i would say that you might be able to play medium but you will probably have to stay on low settings. -
Character wont stand up from fainting

This has also happened to me before. Usually after you log out and let it run through the hour glass for the second time you will be able to stand up. All i can really tell you is to try not to log out after being shot and are bleeding out. The hour glass can be pretty buggy sometimes and if you are bleeding you will probably die during it anyway :( -
The update is not yet live on SixUpdater. Either wait or install DayZ manually from a mirror site.

Most likely the server didn't get the time to save before you logged out. How fast did you log out after you grabbed all the stuff?

In order to be able to play DayZ you need to have ARMA II and ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead. If reinforcements had OA you will need to buy ARMA II or get the free version in order to be able to install DayZ

It sounds like your video drivers are crashing. When this happens does it seem like the fans get quieter almost instantly on your video cards?

Have you tried installing DayZ manually opposed to used SixUpdater? -
You need to run steam as an administrator which will allow it to create the registry entry.

This is very bad for me in Cherno. Anytime i look towards the hotel i get all the weird shapes.

Sounds like your video drivers may be crashing. Do you have them updated to the most recent version and do you monitor the temps while you play? -
You should install the game by downloading the files manually from a mirror opposed to the six updater. That should fix the problem. You may be experiencing a problem with six updater rather than your computer.

I have had this happen to me a few times on 1.7.2.3, not on 1.7.2.4 as of yet. Hopefully this will get fixed soon as it seems to be a bug. -
As kreaol stated the server is not connected to the Hive. The Hive is the database that all official DayZ servers are connected to and is the reason why you can switch servers and remain in the same place with all you gear. If you play on a server that is not connected to the Hive, none of the stuff with sync, and you will not leave off where you did on other servers. There is no negative to playing on a non-connected server other than the fact you will basically be starting over again and doing all the work for nothing since it will only save for that one server.

Probably a dumb question, but are you sure that you all have your filters set to the same thing? Like searching for the same host name or game version?

What is your ping usually at when you play? -
There is no limit on how many characters you have on an IP address but did you both buy ARMA 2 on different accounts? You probably cant use the same account for 2 people.
