Save The Trees Man! Marginalized Wilderness

Would be better than what we have now but I think that having north as a wilderness area and the coast as the civilized area is getting a little too repetitive already. I think that the original size of the map should be increased. Maybe then this wouldn't be north and south only game but a game where the map reaches huge distances so that we have lot of choice to choose from. After north there should be another big industrial area so that I shouldn't need to run back where I came from. I think it takes the joy away from the adventure and forces you to not search but visit the same areas all over again. Everything will be much worse after the cars come. It seems like all we think about is the coast and the north and nothing between. I know that there will be more points of interest in the near future brought for the map but as the op has been saying: it takes the wilderness away that it has already a little too little. Exploring chernarus and discovering everything was one reason why I fell in love with the mod. Now that I know all what's interesting about it makes me want even more from it. -
Or a real stamina system.

I think that the map size should be increased in the future and the borders to be filled with water. Then if boats are introduced in the future you could drive to the north if you wanted to travel more safely. You can travel pretty fast to the north with you feet imo and when cars finally arrive it takes even shorter period of time which in my mind makes the game more and more repetitive. I just hope that the devs increase the size so that me and my pals wont get bored in the future. new maps would be cool too. Would love to see an urban world like New York for dayz. So much cool stuff could be done. -
It is actually kinda easy to run into a house and get the loot since the zombies now run a lot slower than before. Just make sure you deal with zombies before you enter a house by killing them or just by going to places where you don´t see any Z´s near the house. If you get spotted then just sprint away and mostly you´ll do just fine. Just make sure you got some bandages. Rip a shirt my man.Yeah some more zombie skins would be swell. But i´m sure we will see some in the next couple of months. Here´s hoping for some variation for them: Short,Tall,Skinny,Fat,Faster,Slower,Crawler and the list goes on :P

You shouldn´t be able to magically know if there´s bad or good people in game and you surely don´t know this IRL situations either. Even the whole player list should be taken off. It partly spoils the fun since most players just go for the low population servers.There´s definitely ways to make people kos less and that should be done by giving us the guilty feeling when doing so. But how to do that without forcing players with stupid pentalies(which doesn´t fit in Dayz) Thats the hard question to answer. -
That was the bad part in the mod imo. Not because they were harder to target at but because z's shouldn't be smart and try to dodge bullets. I say the more zombies the better and not some freaking outsmarting zombies that look freaking stupid. Maybe the zombies could stumble a little sometimes and even trip over too for their own feet. would be much more immersive way.

The thing is that there's just too many servers which separates players to 6 player ones and I know what the 35 of 40 players are doing on the same server: Not playing friends thats for sure. The huge risk of losing everything is sometimes messing with my head and that's why I do join low pop servers from time to time. Even if the real experience doesn't come from that I still cannot argue with my urge for the sweet loot that nobody's caring to take before me. I wish there wasn't this option. I am the one that feels like it should be forced down my throat like the old nes games. It should be 6 different servers with 500 player gap. If the game gets optimized well of course..

I don't think a skill tree is the way to go as it breaks the immersion. The more you do specific tasks the better you get in those tasks. That's how it should be imo. You should never be able to choose a point that raises your stamina. You should work for it by running a lot. -

If people value their life more they are not going to be doing stupid shit as much as of now. I think the "piss off" mechanic would make this game go more towards it's goal which is survival and not ks fps. To be honest though It wouldn't erase the ks problem. There's still trolls,cod kids and QQers. -

Skill system would not change my play style as I play just like drewsta BUT it would give more depth into my experience of survival. There's also other things that would make an impact like beards that have been talked about but also scars and maybe even fat if you eat too much lol. The point is that I really want this game to bring more immersion by making my character evolve and change over time. That would make everyones characters unique and priceless which equals less kill on sight. -
Had a huge chore finding a wooden stick for my friend who accidentally fell from a scouting tower. Now I had multiple hours of game time to find it (even though theres trees everywhere..) and when I finally did I ran to my friend which took couple of hours. Now.. When I finally came up to my friend I took some rags from him and made the splint. When I applied the splint my character made it for HIMSELF! Now I did laugh a bit. But now it's taking us even more time to find a wooden stick (which are rare as hell) and I cannot even take the splint off of my legs even though I run just fine. Has there been any plans on making this thing a little bit more reasonable? Since it aint right now.

A simple and effective fix for night time gamma "cheating"

Night should be night to everyone. If it's not dark for some it destroys it for others and that's simply not fair. If there's no way around it then the nights should be more brighter so at least everyone could see without fiddling with the gamma settings. -

I understand and have been doing this from the start of arma 2. That doesn't mean that it's not downright ridiculous that you cannot run uphill a little bit.

If you understand it´s alpha you will see that there´s little to non zombies around which will of course change over time. Just wait for couple updates and bam. -
A prison would be damn awesome. Hope we will see one in the game in the near future.
