Look at all these conspiracy theorists going on about how there isn't big foots, aliens, and elephants clearly all over the map. Nobody cares about your brain science theories when we have this overwhelming evidence to support the FACT that there are ancient alien drawings all over the map that they carved with laser beams.

I don't think I've seen anything said about this and I read pretty much everything all the devs post everywhere. I would like to know this too as if the zombies don't spawn loot there is no reason to ever kill them as it's easier to just ignore them.

If you were to make a thread right now about limiting the 3pp camera movement, or anything else that makes it harder to magically see around corners and over 12 foot walls, the same people acting like this mod would be the end of the world would be making the same replies in that thread as they are here. They don't have a problem with how the mod works they have a problem with people trying to fix their favorite exploit.

They are pretty much 2 entirely different games. And as other people said you get a LOT more than just DayZ for buying ARMA2 there are things like Wasteland and all the Life mods which are just as good if not better than DayZ.

Anyone else have any sweet April Fools plans for in game today/tomorrow? My clan's ideas so far are: Reverse robbing people. This is where we're gonna go up to people and pretend we're robbing them and scream at them things like "You better take this gun right now or we're gonna blow your head off!" or "You better take all this food and drink right now or you're gonna die MOFO!!" On Epoch ... Camping new spawns with RPGs. The server we're on has a secret RPG vendor hidden in the woods so we're gonna get a bunch of rockets and drive around the coast killing new spawns / everyone else we see with them to scare the shit out of them. Cuz who expects an RPG to come flying at them in DayZ? Knock out disappear. Try to run up to people with your group and knock someone out with a karate fist assault. Then all just run away and leave the guy after making sure he's not gonna die. Could possibly also then add reverse robbing and leave a bunch of stuff around him for extra "WTF just happened?". ^My favorite so far^ Another epoch one ... BOOM goes the dynamite. We will have some sort of awesome vehicle (like a turret Humvee) in the middle of Elektro or somewhere else with lots of foot traffic. This vehicle will be unlocked ... it will also be parked on top of satchel charges and we will be watching it with sniper rifles from far away. You know what happens next ;) Fake KoS. Run up and surround people with guns and start yelling real loud in direct chat "PEW PEWPEWPEW PEW PEW BANG BANG BANG!" then run away. We're just sitting up all night getting drunk and smoking coming up with plans so will probably have a few more before I go to bed. I'd like to hear if anyone else has anything cool planned or ideas people can share and use.

Time for the fun to start! Thought of another one while sleeping. Legend of Zelda. Lay a machete on the ground at someone's feet / Be hiding in a building at the coast and when you see someone come up to you say "It's dangerous to go alone! Take this." (hopefully they're old enough to get it) Bonus points for playing Zelda theme over voice to draw people in. If they take the "sword" they are Link and may pass freely. If they refuse to take the "sword" shoot them in the face and say "I told you it was dangerous!"

Last one before I go to bed this is another Epoch one. I've actually done this before in the mad early vanilla Mod days when a hacker spawned in a box that had like 100 satchel charges next to me and a bunch of other stuff like entire buildings. Bye Bye Elektro. Go to Elektro with a bunch of satchel charges and put a few in all the buildings that are enterable (I think when I did it I used about 4 per building). Then go up on sniper hill and wait till you see a few people in the city. Even try luring people there with a map marker or telling them there is something cool in Elektro. At this point scroll your mouse and click touch off. You will see the greatest thing you've ever seen in DayZ and the entire city will remain blown up until reset.

The enjoyment from this game is supposed to come from how hard it is ... not from being able to exploit 3pp to make the game as easy as possible.

LolWut? Motion sickness has nothing to do with FoV or FPS it has to do with head bob and not being able to turn it off all the way like you can in most games. I can't play in 1pp for more than like 35 minutes in this game or I will literally throw up on my keyboard. .... hence the name Motion sickness

Can you infect bloodbags somehow, like with disinfectant or something? I've never blood bandit-ed someone. If so ... Infection Test. Hold somebody up and steal their blood. Take it into a nearby building as your friends keep the guy held down and tell him "We need to test your blood to see if you're infected sir." Poison the blood and then go back out and give it to the guy and tell him "Sir we have detected the infection in your blood and you have 10 minutes before you turn. Please leave the area now or you will be shot." He will think "cool story that's not even in the game" ... until he starts "turning" soon after. If not, slightly less fun but ... Lab Accident. Take the guys blood and do the "testing" but then tell him "Sorry there was an accident in the lab and we lost all the blood. All we could find to replace it is this can of soda."

I think they said basic hunting / cooking will be in next patch ... but don't hold me to that.

This just gave me another idea ... could use this one on friends too. Broken Gun. Shoot someone in the foot/leg and say "OMG I'm so sorry I don't know what happened my gun just went off here I'll bandage you and heal you." Do that and then shoot them again and say "WTF I don't know what's going on I'm not even clicking! This must be the stupid devs idea of April Fools joke just make guns go off randomly!" Rinse & repeat.

Dammit Rocket told me you guys weren't supposed to know about this until 3 more patches! How did you find out? Who leaked this info?!?

What me and my friends did was play shooters together for over 10 years straight both at a professional tournament and just for fun level. We just hive mind while talking about TV shows and stuff and just know what the others are gonna do and when they're gonna do it. We have nicknames for pretty much all the buildings and that does help a lot when you can just say "Construk bldg" instead of "You know that cement building that's 3 floors and has 2 sets of stairs on either side and the little center roo..... and I'm dead." Constantly updating each other helps if you've not played together every day for years like us and can just hive-mind exactly what everyone is doing. Every time you're gonna move to a different spot let them know before you move and when you get there. A uniform of some type can help more than anything ... but can also be bad if someone just happens to be wearing something similar and wanders into the area. Try to always stay in sight of each other don't hide behind buildings or walls where they can't see you then run out to where they can. Keep a line. Like always have the same people in the same order from left to right that way everyone knows how many people should be on either side of them and if someone is there that shouldn't be take them out. But basically nothing can help more than just playing together all the time. Also none of these things work 100% and even we still "accidentally" shoot each other all the time .... sometimes shit just happens.

Also if you're using supersonic rounds you can actually use it like an assault rifle and not like a bolt action which you have to do with subsonic rounds.

Sweet! I always got so pissed off about this in the mod. Oh you have a normal M4 and you're shooting subsonic 5.56 rounds full auto? Or even better doing it with a M249 ... THAT DOESN'T EVEN WORK!!!!!!1!! RAAAAAAGE!! Oh you need MP5-SD rounds for an MP5SD? .... WHAT?!? THAT'S AGAINST THE ENTIRE POINT OF A FUCKING MP5SD!!!!! To me, basing off the comment he is replying too, it means that it wouldn't work to put both types of ammo into the same mag.

Now that you mention it OP I don't recall hearing flies recently in the mod. That's funny, I never even thought about it.

Yes it has always been like this. It is absolutely horrible on my 32" widescreen monitor. Luckily at least you can turn your head unlike most games which makes it a little better. The FoV slider in this game 3pp or 1pp is just weird and doesn't seem like it works right.

I now say we turn this thread into a petition to add more beans allowed per day because I ran out and can't give Lok any for cheating loopholes like a boss :( They have these awesome Off-road Segways now too so they could even work for going through the forests of Chernarus. Switchable tires for off road and streets?! Batteries in game have enough juice to run a defibrillator they could easily run one of these.

Wait, I just thought of something. We can do whatever we want with this thread the Mod's boss told them they can't move or delete it! AIDS ASS FART BITCH 11111121 HAIL SATAN!!! I think the 19 page pinned thread that's been up for 3 months kinda shows they aren't censoring ... ;) I've been on forums for game's where they ban people for reporting hackers with video proof and delete the thread and then ban anyone for mentioning it.
