Exactly what happened to APB:reloaded which came out like 3 years ago and still has almost every gamebreaking bug from day 1 because 95% of players are fanboys and drove all the people posting bugs and giving feedback away and now there is like 1200 people paying a game that has had like 3million unique accounts created over its life. -

... and yet the only posts you've made are crying about what other people are posting.Its also probably over your head that the bug reporting is an entire separate website not a sub-forum and that this is the internet where most people Aren't going to bother signing up for a different site. You should probably have known that since you are now "here to help out with standalone" and clearly so much smarter than me. Again this thread is still the only one I've seen with people posting entire page posts complaining about anything. And you're telling people to stop posting about bugs which is tHe opposite of what the devs want at this stage of the game. You apparently think this is a full release game and don't know what an alpha development build or testing means. -

I find it ironic that yours in this thread are still the only posts I've seen I consider remotley close to rageing for multiple paragraphs per post. All I see is people posting bugs and what they like/don't like. Thats called feedback not whining -

This is also not even close to the loot system that they've said is going to be in the standalone multiple times. "there will be a set amount of zombies and loot on the server at any time. when you kill some or loot the server scans sees there is missing and spawns now to get it back to the max number there is supposed to be"

How are they going to fix things if nobody says anything about what is broken. Fanboys like you are what is wrong with games these days "stop talking about bugs QQ they are definitely going to automatically know what is wrong and fix it within 1 day cuz devs are super awesome and near infallible" You've also been a member of these forums for over a year and have 2 posts. You have no right to tell people what they can and can't post here. You've never done anything to try to improve DayZ and you aren't a member of the community. -
I guess you don't get what people are complaining about at all? The loot at restart completely breaks the game for people who can only "play when it's convenient to play" because all of the people who have no life will have emptied the server before they can even get on ... especially when the servers start getting to be like 100+ players. If you don't think people are only going to be playing at restarts just to farm loot you must be new to the internet.

20 British Pound Sterling equals 32.59 US Dollar Math- 1Person who doesn't know value of own money- 0 And yeah he definitely said multiple times this would only cost 10-15$ when it first came out. Now they doubled that price and the game is only like 15% done compared to the mod? I'm thinking I'm just going to skip this and get Arma 3. They've already made their money on the millions of copies of Arma 2 and Arrowhead they sold when the mod got popular (ARMA 2 only had maybe 50K sales before that) which was 100% free money for them off something they didn't even make. And from what I've been reading they apparently did no testing because there are glaringly obvious game breaking bugs that pretty much everyone is reporting. This game wasn't even ready for alpha testing nevermind 30$ pricetag.

I only found one 1 time. I blew up a zombie with it. C4 on the other hand ... I've held a free gun giveaway event in Elektro, hiding guns in a bunch of buildings, and then exploded every enterable building in the city. -

Isn't there like an article or an interview Rocket did a while ago about it. I remember something along the lines of how the zombies skeletons are done in the mod vs standalone makes it run way smoother and better because they currently have like hundreds of "bones". Also the main thing (if they are still doing it) where they are switching everything over to a more MMO like architecture where everything is server side will improve it a lot too.

Way better. The main thing killing DayZ is having to have all the scripts running to make the game work, everything being client side, and the zombies had to be done horribly from a technical standpoint. All of which is supposed to be fixes in standalone.

Get this thermal scoped crutch that people use to pretend to themselves that they're good out of the game. It's free Chams and makes people bad players. This should be shown by the fact that people wanting it to stay's only reason is "I use one". No batteries /thread

You can run a server off your own computer and run scripts to spawn zombies and anything else you want (make sure battleye is off). I've done this myself so I could kill zombies with a F-35 and such. Or you probably could even find a way to edit the mission but I don't know how to do that. I used http://www.tunngle.n...-controlcenter/

Devs working on standalone, what's your opinion?

They said the standalone should be out this year. And yeah stop working on the mod because you can't do 1/2 the stuff you want to because of being tied to ARMA 2. The game is finie as is for now we can wait for the standalone if it means it will be that much better with 100% of the time spent going towards it not trying to figure out how you can get stuff to work around the Arma 2 patches that come out like every other day. -
In real life suppresed guns use subsonic rounds. If they didn't the sound from the bullet breaking the sound barrier coming out of the barrel would ruin the whole point of using the silencer.

Sooo .... Hide in the corner of the map on an empty server next to water and only log in once a month maximum. Alt + F4 the second anyone else joins the server. And make sure you never put yourself in any situation where a zombie even has a chance of spawning on the map. Yeah, sounds like fun .... Why did you bother downloading DayZ?
