There are no hacks at the moment so what do you want them to stop? You are also describing things happening to you from a hacker that aren't even in the planned features of the hack that isn't even released yet. The only thing the hack that, again isn't even out yet, will have is an aimbot and a radar
-
The hack isn't even released yet and won't have god mode when it is.
-
Should be better than there are actually building to go in everywhere now though and you don't just ignore 85% of the map because it had 1 small shack in an entire town that had something other than an empty tin can 1 out of every 5 times you went there.

Charging people money to help you "make" a game....

Dead Linger had to make every single aspect of their game from scratch including the procedural generation engine. Dead Linger is also cheaper than the standalone even with having to do that. They aren't coming out with Dead Linger V2.0 the year after making tens of millions on Dead Linger and charging more than the original. -
If you're not having any fun it means you're playing correctly.

Ok i get it.. its alpha.. but this is worse than the mod.

Dean didn't want to release yet because there is no point in releasing a game with core mechanics like how loot / zombies spawns not being in or having placeholders because all the bug fixing they are doing isn't going to mean anything when they start making drastic changes to the code and completely removing everything they've been bug fixing. Seem to remember Rocket streaming a couple days ago pointing out all these bugs and broken mechanics people are talking about and saying they were fixing them before releasing the game and it would be a couple week probably. -

DICE didn't say their DLCs would be 5$ then release them before they should have for 15$. Also has nothing to do with this game DICE didn't make BF4, have it sell no copies, and then just magically have millions of people buy it one day not due to anything they did themselves and then turn around and release the DLCs well before they should have in a broken state to cash in on the sudden popularity they did nothing to earn. This game isn't even an alpha yet; core mechanics are not even in place like the actual loot / zombie spawning system, the UI, etc... If you think Rocket wanted to release this game in the state it is currently in you're silly. This was a CEO dolla dolla bill decision. And yes I know what alpha means I'm friends with quite a few game devs and have worked on games myself. You don't release an "alpha" for your game to test for bugs on your placeholder code and mechanics when you're planning on changing pretty much every aspect of it which is going to make all the bugs you're fixing mean nothing. They are now wasting time fixing bugs on stuff that isn't even going to be in the game in a month. -
Nobody has a problem with loot being scarce the problem is it only spawning at restart so when you get home after working a 10 hour shift and all the servers have been up for 4 hours already you can't find anything and die from thirst before you do as the unemployed high-school dropouts are server hopping at reset loading up on loot they're never going to use. I personally have had no problem finding loot but I know this is going to start happening. Especially as more and more people start getting the game.

They only sold 10,000 copies of Arma 2 before dayZ came out. Cost of game x number of players - if everyone of the over 2 million bought Arma2:CO when it was on super 85% off 25$ sale they still would have made over 50,000,000$. Most people bought it at 30-50$. -

Rocket's mouth and basic math. Rocket made all this possible btw not the "game" that only had 5,000 players left in it before DayZ came out. There are other games you can mod. -

Rocket said he would never make a game that you couldn't try before buying or he would quit the industry and that the standalone would only be 10-15$ at full release. They shouldn't be charging anything yet never mind double the price that they've been talking about the whole time especially considering they've already made their big money off DayZ Mod by it bringing their crappy military simulator from 10,000 sales before DayZ to over 2 million sales for Arma 2 exclusively from the mod. The reason it costs anything at all is because Rocket doesn't actually control anything anymore. They've already made tens of millions off the work of basically 1 person now they're just trying to squeeze everything they can out. Welcome to video games in the twenty-first century. They already made 50-100 million USD from DayZ franchise. You think Rocket wanted to release the game in the state it's in at the price point it's at? -

Your options are nice and all but after the 50-100 million USD they've made just from the mod they fall under option 1 not 2 or 3. You think Rocket wanted to release the game in the state it's in? -
Guy ran up and punched me. I asked how to put up fists. He told me. We had a boxing match. He got knocked da F$ out.

So bought the game, joined the most populated server, found a crap ton of edible food in the first building I went in, found a backpack in the 2nd and a bunch of ammo, then found stuff in just about every 2nd building after that.

I've heard a few but have yet to see one.

There is no proof of any hacks anywhere other than screenshots from people with 10 posts that could have been made in MS paint in 2 minutes. One of the screenshots says "repair vehicle" because it is from the DayZ mod.

Cheaters and script kiddies already aboard...
Weedz replied to WalkerDown (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
Nope. I've known them for years and met them because I used to develop anti-cheat scripts and we had fun breaking each others shit. Building a gun doesn't make you a murderer if someone uses it to kill someone. If they weren't making the money from 12 year old's parent's credit cards someone else would. -
Rust looks like it was made in 2001

I can already see myself doing this so much.

There are no hacks. The screenshots people are showing are from old DayZ mod scripts as they include things like repair vehicle. Some of my friends who are the people who make the actual real hacks for games at some of the biggest websites are looking at the code already and saying it's going to be ridiculously difficult to hack when they start trying ... which they haven't done yet. There's not even links for the hacks in the threads where the people with 10 posts and an MS paint image are saying they've made the hack. -

These devs have already done everything they said would be in the standalone in the mod .... Some people's children Rick. -

The only proof of any hack is a screen shot that says 'terrain hack enabled' that could have been done in MS paint. One of the options is Repair Vehicle which aren't even in the game yet so ... And maybe a night vision hack but again it was just 1 screenshot Everything is serverside there won't be many hacks. -

If there is no anti-cheat than maybe but I highly doubt there isn't. -
Don't even care if there is hardly any zambies if they are actually acting like zombies more not highly intelligent serpentining flank masters
-
This right here. I know I for 1 just going to go around eating everything and using up all the guns so nobody can use them against me for an entire reset?cycle
