Makes the game a lot easier when you can read the road signs and not think it says [(squiggly 3)(pacman)(space invaders)P-K-A].So glad I have a friend from CCCP who taught me. -
I spawned at Balota on my first life on a full server. There was no one there and I was more geared than I could ever want in the first 5 minutes of playing. I was not amused.

Yeah Rocket was so in it for the money when he made that free game mod in his spare time for fun because he wanted to make a game he wanted to play. He definitely knew it was going to explode in popularity and lead to it's own standalone retail game 2 years ago when he started it.

Barracks aren't the problem it is the 87,000 military tents which all spawn military loot on the little medical camp area by the ocean across road from Balota with the 2 deer stands.

Good thing this game got popular because it isn't like other games huh? Again MMO literally only mean that there are more people than in most multiplayer games playing together in the same server. Nothing else.

You know that open world and sandbox are two entirely different things right? Because it says so right in the Wikipedia article you copy pasted .... "An "open world" game does not necessarily imply a sandbox game" AKA you proved yourself wrong .... like I said.

That's weird because the definition of psychopath is literally the exact opposite of what you're saying it is. -
MMO - multiple people playing in the same server online with eachother MMORPG - stupid game like World of Warcraft that is linear and includes player levels, learnable skills, and highly scripted events Sandbox game - open world story-less 100% unscripted game that plops you in and just says "GO" and has no "endgame" or "leveling up" So OP not only doesn't know what an alpha test is he doesn't even know the genre of game he is testing.

He never said anything even close to that. He said the game will be running on a more MMO based architecture meaning the server handles everything not individual clients. And again MMO doesn't mean MMORPG at all. OP thinks this game is an MMORPG; it is an open world sandbox survival game which is about the exact opposite of an MMORPG. Always has been always will be.

I think you're the one who should watch the movie. There is one scene were a cop is just shooting the shit out of everything that moves including unarmed civilians. He is in fact just going door to door in an apartment kicking in the doors and shooting everyone inside and then gets killed by the other cops. The zombies only get into the mall ... BECAUSE of the looters. -
The man who thinks the game is an MMORPG and should have factions who wear different color shirts and should have end game raids and has no clue at all what a sandbox game is (like apparently you don't either) has good points ... yeah you're clearly not his friend.

Someone had the great idea of like 21 hour days so that people who work every time the log in at the same time every night is a different time in the game. -
You can't play man this game is only for the people who never gave the mod a chance and waited for the standalone so never participated in making all the features and testing everything all along and coming up with new ideas and even making those new ideas in other mods which made their way into the main mod and now the standalone and actually know the game and how it should work so know what the bugs are. Nope this alpha test isn't for us this is for the noobs only. I think it even says so right on the Steam page.

Me too! I feel like I did in the first couple months of the mod where I'm actually scared and getting mad like you should be in this game unlike the mod now where it's "Sweet I died now I get to spawn somewhere good and be full geared in 5 minutes". Feelz gud.
