I think my thing from another thread fits good here for all the crutch kiddies who so desperately rely on corner camping they can't even accept this perfect solution to 3pp exploiting. "I love the people who act like every single shooter ever made wasn't 1st person only for the first 30 years shooters existed yet people seemed to manage and that 1st or 3rd person / hardcore or casual weren't even words to describe a game ... you were just playing a shooter. People who act like it's impossible to play a shooter in 1st person view are HIGHlarious."

They have also been survivors for 5 years now I'm sure they've learned how to shoot. In DayZ you are playing as you are one of these 5 year survivors who is just waking up after a night of black out drunkenness and can't remember where you left all your shit.

This. If you're playing this solely for combat you're doing it wrong. You can go for hours on a full server and not see even a single person.

DayZ mods on Arma 3 are just getting started but will probably eventually be way better than Arma 2 ones.

Effective range means range that it was found that the average shooter could consistently land 7-9/10 shots on a human sized target while maintaining enough velocity to be considered a lethal hit (this part doesn't really ever apply because the rounds remain lethal way past where you stop being able to hit the target every time) up to that range. An M4's effective range is 500M in real life. At 100M pretty much anyone will hit 100% of the time unless they have Parkinson's, there is an earthquake, or a hurricane force wind blows in mid shot. A human sized target is still bigger than your sight at 100M. What are you talking about here? A trained soldier needs 30 rounds to take out a standing person at 100M? 100M is close range for an assault rifle. Most trained shooters could headshot a standing person at 100M with 1-2 bullets. I can MLGPRO 360 noscope birds with an air rifle farther than 100M.

Like every change they do people will cry for 2 days then forget all about corner camping other than the few remaining people who finally realize they are terrible and could only get kills by using the exploit. Most of the people who corner camp all the time now would soon realize their skills and tactical awareness are improving quickly now that they aren't playing Virtual stand in the corner like you're in time out simulator.

2nd person would be somebody watching you. I'll link a game in a sec that is a 2nd person perspective game. Technically it's 1st person ish becuase technically you are the guy behind the cameras but you never are in the game it's all about "controlling" the girl so this should give you good idea of someone watching you 2pp game. I always link people this it makes it instantly clear what 2pp is >.< it always takes me 15 minutes of googling to remember what the name is.

I agree with that guy though when I'm sitting on a hill at 1700M with a sniper rifle destroying the other team's moving targets (infantry, helis, and land vehicles) on Arma 3 King Of Hill it's not skill it's my being a talentless faggot. LoL at people desperately trying to learn how to dupe. Us actual game testers (who've been closed alpha and beta testing games for many many years to find bugs not play the game early), especially ones who also have programming experience, can find ways to break games pretty easily especially ones as early in dev as this is. We also don't try to spread how to do stuff it just gets out sometimes. Look at duping in the mod people like me knew dozens of ways to dupe all along and reported them till they slowly all got patched. The majority of other people just knew what the 1 "flavor of the month" way to do it that someone made a video or something for. I found a way to dupe on day 1 of the standalone within 5 minutes of playing that didn't involve logging out ... so I submitted a bug report told my other friend who is a game developer about it and only randomly used it after patches to see if it still worked. Haven't tried it in a while but I'd say 50-50 it still works.

Someone ran up to me and screamed "IMA FRIENDLY". I instantly shot them in the face and said "I'm not". I have been trying to exterminate the F-word ever since. These are the only people I blatantly KoS. Every single other person I have killed I always say something first or mess with them in a way that will make them at least laugh before I kill them like shooting and breaking their legs, bandaging them, then leading a pack of zombies to eat them and tell them they've been selected for the Zombie Advancement Center's Zombie Feeding Outreach Program.

To sum it all up OP: prepare your anus for unfair deaths in this game or you're not gonna have a very good time.
