Negating someone's years of video game shooter experience to give scrubs who can't aim an advantage not only is ridiculous (especially in a game like DayZ), it also keeps the scrubs being scrubs because, unlike people who are actually good at games, they will never have a chance of increasing their skill by learning from the mistakes they make facing a better opponent and becomes a game of "who get's lucky and has their bullet actually go where they are aiming first". This is the exact reason why I, who had probably close to 10,000 hours in the BF franchise before 3, have about 75 hours played in BF3 and haven't logged in since a few months after it came out and also I never even bought BF 4. This would be like giving a delta operator a gun with a bent barrel so the terrorists have a better experience with the war on terror.

We had this in the mod at one point. It was fucking retarded because you can scan tree lines until a name popped up then you knew right where someone was without even having to look for people.

There really shouldn't be different difficulties or anything that further divides up the player base; especially since this game is supposed to be kick you in the teeth hard anyway. If people don't like that go play a different game they shouldn't ask for stuff like "can we get servers with less zombie damage". With this mod there wouldn't even be a need for 1pp and 3pp servers as there would be little to no benefit to 3pp over 1pp.

Pointing out that you're making an idiotic argument for something that the game's developers have said will never be in the game isn't trolling. If you want a team based shooter go play CoD. You're idea is also completely unnecessary and pretty much already in the game. Want to be a "hero"? Dress up with a UN helmet and a Press vest. Want to be a "bandit"? Dress up in military clothes with a beret or bandanna. Don't want to be an idiot who thinks there should be teams in a sandbox game? Dress up in what ever the hell you want!

I only use my heavily armed Apache attack helicopter for U.N. peace missions in Arma 3! I rain peace bullets and peace missiles all over the enemy team from a mile in the sky. It makes them so happy they just lay down and take a pleasant nap.

Griefing is when you're repeatedly doing something that you're not supposed to be able to do in order to ruin other's enjoyment. Game mechanics like breaking legs are in the game so you can break people's legs. If you weren't supposed to be able to break people's legs then people were somehow going around doing this that would be griefing. But people have their friends who aren't on their team park their cars that are indestructible if they stay in them (because they aren't part of the mission) on top of mission objectives so people can't get them. Once or twice is an accident maybe but if they do it repeatedly it's griefing.

If you think vehicles will do anything to deter KoS you never played the mod. People and bullets are drawn to vehicles like magnets. You think people who shoot you for no reason now wouldn't shoot you if they see you driving by in a car?

I think the devs even said there would never be anything like this and it was a big regret they had with the mod because having artificial "teams" in a sandbox is stupid.
