So... can you be that good?

There is hacking. Thedevildoggamer actually has a video with a hacker in it, teleporting around and openly admitting to it.

    Fix duping, and wipe characters...

if it meant away with duping I would be okay with my character getting wiped, this game needs more people running with makarov's and enfields, not AS50's and M107's.
  3. Thanks for the clarification.
  4. Found a G36C SD the other day on some guy, also had some mountain dew and a radio. I imagine he was a hacker because I have never ever heard of a G36C in DayZ I even tried to google it but, I could just be retarded.

Is it worth being a Hero?

It's a really cool looking skin, I love it alot, I just fear being a big ol' target.
  6. I just attained my hero skin and I was pretty excited but I wonder to myself, will I be a bigger target? Or will people be like "Oh he's a hero, it's cool." Just wanted some opinions if you saw a guy in a Hero skin would you shoot him because you could or see if he's friendly?
  7. Everytime i'm with friend(s) and we see a car in a clearing we're always like "It's a trap! hurry look around!" most of the time it's not a trap.

    Your Final Words Before Death

Hey Carlos, do you see something over there? Tanis was killed. Carlos was killed.
  9. Lol. What else can i say?
  10. That's pretty cool, rare to meet nice people like that(especially in DayZ). Also, my first reply from a DayZ team member, neat.
  11. I'll never pass up a can of beans.
  12. I quite enjoyed that game as a child.
  13. Basically this thread is things that like your renew your hope or just make you say "It must be my birthday" or just something that made you feel like the fates were on your side. Post stories of your tales. Edit: 77 view, only 9 posts, think I may cry. I was playing DayZ last night with my friend and we were on our way to NWAF when we were going over a hill and we found 6 tents, here are the contents. 3 Coyote Backpacks, Bizon SD, MP5 x2, M4A1, M4A3, M240, AS50, 5 Alice Packs, 3 Frag Grenades and alot of food/drink medical supplies. Obviously we couldnt take all this stuff so we made use of the frag grenades and blew the tents up so the owner(s) couldn't claim their things. We have no idea if it was the works of a hacker or not, hell we didn't care, we were just excited for upgrades

    DayZ Stories

Day 1, 4:36 AM. I awake early in the morning in the outskirts of Chernogorsk where I had slept in the woods. Supplies are depleted, I have 1 clip of Makarov ammo, no food, no water. Must head for town. Day 1, 4:48 AM: My arrival in Chernogorsk is going quite well no other humans around(I prefer to be alone) I wander around the city, find some Baked Beans. After a hearty meal I realize I am quite parched, I continue my voyage through Chernogorsk where I turn a bad corner into 7 of the living dead. Day 1, 5:36 AM: I find my self trapped on a roof, the ladder is covered by the Not-So-Dead. I jump off the roof like a fool hoping to get away, I break my legs. My life feels nearly snuffed out. Scared, alone, 1 clip of Makarov ammo.....it's a bad day. I decide I must head for the Church in Chernogorsk(Remembering the hospital was near the church) the Living Dead are everywhere, it's a nightmare. Day 1, 6:24 AM: My trek is long(my legs are broken) but I am nearly there, I rejoice. A loud thunderous noise comes roaring from behind, my heart beats nearly out of my chest. My death is near I figure....a man...a LIVING man in a bus stops right next to me. He reveals his name to me, Phantom59. My nerves are on edge. "Friend or Foe." I think to myself. "Get in and I'll get you to the hospital" He says. Truly, I am grateful. Day 1, 6:42 AM: We arrive at the hospital. "Wait in the bus I will get you some Epinephrine and Morphine." I wait for several minutes. "I've got the supplies." He says. My nightmare is nearly over. "Let's make a quick stop at the Food Market for some supplies." Day 1, 7:26 AM: We depart Chernogorsk, I arrived in Chernogorsk alone....I leave with a friend. Phantom59, My Savior.
