  1. Yea, I've read about something like that in another suggestion - I like it. Would be cool if they'd add multiple tools to start a fire of different characteristics and rarity. Those could be valued somewhat like this: bow drill - craftable from wood and sinew/cord, low success rate, unlimited uses matches - moderate success rate, limited uses lighter - adequate success rate, limited uses, non-refillable storm lighter - high success rate, more uses than lighter, reliable under hard conditions, refillable (if you have a jerry can?) fire steel - high success rate, reliable under hard conditions, unlimited uses Maybe you could even raise the success rate if you find tinder :)
  2. Look at zhrooms post. He actually used the new Arma 3 lightning on Chernarus for these screenshots. It looks quite authentic to me.
  3. I think he wanted to quote Brave.arse ;) Anyway I don't think it'll need some kind of dynamic smoke. They'll only need to put a normal smoke effect on top of the chimney - no collision with other objects.
  4. I see your point, but since they claimed everything will be build from the ground up I assume they could find a way to implement it properly. I'd be fine though if they would only add it to some certain kinds of houses. EDIT: Sorry for double post.
  5. Added a picture to visualize a scenario from the outside perspective.
  6. Better question would be which civilian houses don't have a chimney. Those aren't even all of them.
