I absolutely agree with this thread, I am 6' 5" and even the grass seems like it is always to my chin. And windows are way to high. If the view point is at the base of your neck how do the rear views over the shoulder end up looking correct?

My experience with Templated non eye safe military lasers, 1000 meter shooting lasers and 600 meter golf lasers is exactly what I said. I have never shot a laser and had it put up a number that was nonsense unless there was something between me and where I was looking that I had not seen. When it gets misty they just say cant read.

You didn't say anything different then what I said, not sure how that is correcting anything. Just say that in your opinion the devs are right no matter what they do and quit pretending to discuss the issue.

That is a good use of that laser or any laser. If they put in a real laser with 6x magnification and 1000 m range, in many climatic conditions you would still have to do just what you did, laz something you can get a read off of and estimate from there, perfectly reasonable. But that has nothing to do with identifying if the laser should have magnification or not.

Its a laser, it will either be accurate, or it will not give a reading. It can either pick up the return or not. The return depends a bit on what your bouncing it off and the conditions but based on the power of the laser it either will read or not. It wont lie to you. 450 is not a crazy range for them to max it at. 700 on a person and 1000 on a big object would be more likely. But who knows which model they are doing. But 4x and 450 is not crazy.

he lazed a building, a huge building. then he took 17 shots to hit the guy(few military count it as "sniping" if it takes you 3 magazines to get the hit.) Pro tip, if your willing to take 17 shots, keep the laser in your pocket and just use ranging shots lol. As I said, the thing works as a hill or building range finder. But if you want to engage people with it, its like a hand gun, or shot gun range finder. Not much market for those for some reason, no idea why the hills of this land are full of them.(maybe people threw then away as they were useless)

Sorry you meant to say 150 dollar. People on here are amazing, I just searched the cabelas catalog. No LRF was not magnified(no one would make such a thing, it is self evidently silly) A 130 dollar one was 4X the majority were 6x some were 10 x. what is the harm of being honest and rational lol.

that is a very cool description of works. do you do the same thing with rifles, look at something through the binos, then point the rifle the same place even though you can see nothing?

You should avoid the reflex to just say things.. of course a soldier in full gear can walk quietly, or he can just walk, or he can jog. Of course he can ghost walk, he will not be as quiet as if he did the same thing with out a full pack and gear, but more quiet then if he normal walked in the same equipment. And walking slowly is way different then crouching and walking.

the crouched movment is way to fatiguing, its an actual crouch. What is needed is as the OP stated, a ghost walk, careful methodical, quiet.

no it doesn't. unless the target is against the sky or something. When you las with this thing you have no idea what it is feeding the distance from over 200m

lol. game play. lol where do people come up with this stuff. Its ok to just support the devs, but try not to make stuff up as if your really talking about the issue. You think the device in the game is the tape measure kind of laser for measuring long rooms? what are you even saying. Its a field laser, its for getting range to game, golf flags or people. Do not be ridiculous.

? its just broken, its purpose is to find the range for an object at a distance. As is it is useless beyond 200 for a person or a zombie. Without its magnification its useless. Unless you are lazing hills or houses. Saying that you like it is kind of amazing, would you like knifes that were not sharp too if the devs made it that way?

I play the same way, but not a fan of empty servers, I like to have some danger so a 10 person is good. If everyone else logs I wont log, but I do prefer some edge to it. When they get the vehicles moving it will be cool again, I am not interested in them but they give the bad guys something to focus on and you can see the thing coming for a way so it adds allot of excitement. I will be 50 soon.

The loot explosions from experimental still happen, I got one on the whole north end of NW airfield today, everything from the last two hangers north. it was kind of sick. The heating up when you run is cool....I got wet from sweating just by keeping the water going as I ran. Have no idea what rounds the derringer takes. changing weapons when a Z is near seems to be very flaky now. Best to just carry the 45 out all the time. very hard to tell where an agro is from the sound.

Some of the servers seem to have the kiddy on the reset button trying to get their fav loot.

The hacking and duping I am seeing playing 70 hours in the last few weeks, compared to any point in the mod is zero. really, there must be some improvement, that has not just happened. The devs are doing something.

To the geniuses that do not understand the simple concept that MORE TAKES MORE. even fully optimized MORE of something takes more work. and work creates lag. To get rid of that lag those teams optimize the map and the engine, constrain where you can go and make the map SMALL. Do not compare that to this lest you be considered a fool. You do have to draw at 2km if you want a real experience, if you want a 100m square twitchy shooter, go play one, every other shooter is like that. I spot to several KM all the time in the game, that's why I play it.

Your tone is ridiculous and your idea is just stupid, Every other shooter out there is tiny and small, play them. wow.

Pongo never forgot anything, if you never noticed that Skyrim is really just a patchwork of small levels I am sorry to have to reveal it to you. But that will not work here, we spot people and shoot people across 4 of those levels in this game.
