    "[New] - Able to sharpen knifes now." How do we do this? I have tried many variations of tools/rocks/gear and had no Right-Click option appear.

    You could try "UKSS": https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/5.39.89.225:2302/ and "A Dead Man Walking HC Mercanary": http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/188.165.235.176:2342/ They are First Person, No Crosshair, No Side Chat, Plain Vanilla. Sadly, most players don't want a hard survival experience any more, and first person servers have very few players. ( I used to love DayZ 2017 for hardcore, wish that would come back ). The recent Mod has increased Hunger and Thirst, so running, working, etc use food and water at a fast rate so you need to keep finding/hunting food and sourcing water. It also has craftable wooden splints, drinking from wells (with tin can or even your hands), blood types with test kits and transfusion kits, stashes, base building, weapon attachments, are so much more, it has come a very long way and is better than ever.

    Screen swaying from side to side

    A-HA! That cured it. So has the swaying replaced the shaking effect you used to get when hit by Zeds and which was cured by Painkillers? I haven't had to use Painkillers for so long now I almost forgot about them, but since I've been playing on a 1st Person only server, the screen effect is very noticable, so much so that after playing I still feel like I'm swaying (like stepping off a boat IRL). Cheers, for help.
  5. Recently getting an effect of the whole screen slowly swaying from side to side at regular intevals. I have tried resting in a tent, sitting in vihicle or just lying down, but it still happens. Anyone know what it is and what the cure is? Thanks.

    I'd like to see this reverted back to how it was before the Bohemia update. In my opinion they went way over the top with the effect and it ruins the gameplay experience in all Arma scenarios, not just DayZ.

    Well, according to the map in this video interview there is another island added below Utes...FFWD to 13:48 This video is 2 months old, don't know how you missed it :P , there's loads of details of the new map to bee seen.

    Are there any plans to improve the useability of boats now that you have added two more islands to Chernarus+? eg: add storage function like cars and heli's; increase speed of Small Boat and Fishing Boat; ability to stand on boat to do actions (maybe actually go in the boat cabin too?).

    The Chernarus+ map needs to replicate those real dark, dense woods, to make you feel more enclosed, not knowing who or what is lurking in them.

    So I went to the real Chernarus today..

    Fascinating to see the inspiration for the map. One thing that stands out for me is how dense the real wooded areas are compared to the ingame woods. The real woods are so dark, whereas the ingame woods are quite light and you can see through them from a distance. I would like to hope that the devs can add a lot more trees and low foliage or shrubs to the woods to re-create that dark atmosphre, it would work really well in DayZ.
