he was getting no data from the server can only be 3 things with commander firewall blocking it servers are down or the framework isn't installed -

just the arma beta and dayz for now that gets the standard map running edit the others you can do whenever you want to go on them maps i prefer chernarus -

open the control panel its on the metro mess.. click on programs then under that should be turn windows features on or off make sure the tick box is enabled -

yeah the correct paths for steam are in looking at the picture but it cant connect to the servers -

have you enabled the .net framework 3.5 i think its disabled by default in windows 8 -

what versions are you using for arma2 steam or retail and arma2 oa steam or retail dayz commander cant find the games you might have to set the paths yourself -
login to your tcadmin page or whatever its called click on log viewer arma2oaserver.rpt is the main one when it restarts it should show all the spawns ie your tent storage and before the restart it should show the save items publicvariable.log should show the stuff you have picked up and moved about use and the inventory saves createvehicle.log should show things that have been spawned around you hiveext.log should show any error in connecting to the hive open them in a text editor notepad++ is good

look at your logs when you have placed a tent put items in and out of it and restarted the server

dayz fixed this issue.have a look through your log files when you place a tent if it appears i think it should be in your main one but may show in createvehicle or publicvariable logs of items going in and out of it hiveext should tell you if your having anyproblems connecting to the hive

if its a shared hive your best off asking hfb to look at it

does hfb use bliss what map are you running and what versions

so do you have access to the hive sql database or did you go for one of the lesser packages
