thats either a corrupt file or an error in launching the game i suggest doing these steps first close steam start steam in admin (right click and run as administrator) right click on arma2 and properties then local files click on verify integrity of game cache <-- do it twice and do the same for arma2 oa run arma2 to the menu run arma2 oa to the menu click in expansions make sure the following are enabled arma2 arma2 oa arma2 baf lite arma2 pmc lite if not enable them and restart then exit the game

if you connect to my server i can check the logs to see if the reason you are being kicked is there search for my name

hi mate im not sure you can if its the clients computer running the script unless there is some way of it using rcon commands instead so it comes up in admin chat instead of blufor chat if you can turn it off i think it would turn it off for any message written in the global/side channels so no one would know who is talking

is this a steam version of the game or retail/gog

have you tried updating the one in C:\Users\*****USERNNAME****\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEye as well and the one in the arma oa expansions folder

cool so its all working now i must admit i was messing about for about 2 hours didnt notice that the [Misc] was commented out so it was skipping the whole thing i was like ahhhh you idiot banging my head against the desk sometimes the simplest things elude us

the arma2_ka52 is part of arma the only thing i can think of is the install didnt go properly corrupt file (i think this is air2.pbo) or combined operations isnt running have you tried running dayzcommder and seeing if that launching it right you may need to set the path in the settings the other thing is it could be an error similer to the gog version where it puts an extra slash on the path maybe if you take a look at your registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Bohemia Interactive Studio > ArmA 2 and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Bohemia Interactive Studio > ArmA 2 OA and for each of the MAIN and DATA check to see if at the end of the path it puts a backslash ie D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\ <-- remove this if it is there

ok have you installed the patches for both arma 2 to version 1.11 and arma 2 oa version 1.62 and then the beta patch is it retail from gog

most do a min of 30 it all depends what else you require to be able to do on your server if you want complete hive access places like dayz.st vertgaming and hfb offer that atm if you want easy editing day.st is your best bet but thats 50 slots cheepest atm is vilayer at about £16 for 40 slots if you use the 50% coupon they dont have hive access but they do let you set time loadout max cars etc but are bringing out compete hive access soon edit i get my servers from villager i have no experience with any of the others i find vilayer have very good customer service and responded very quickly and got thing sorted if there were any problems

its not launching combined operations i think what versions do you have and how are you launching dayz

you can do it but you will still have to download them to your other pc just copying the files causes allsorts of problems

right click on steam and run as administrator if you verify the game files before launching the games this will remove the keys upon verifying the files then put them back in when starting the game

did you remove your game off his pc before playing if you didnt youre cd key is still in the reg if he got it from steam he needs to run both games as admin to the main screens to replace your keys with his

if your taking about mouse sensitivity its personnel preference every mouse is different depending on the sensors i use a mx 518 (yeah i know its old but i like it too much to give him up) and i change the dpi on the fly depending on what i need at the time to answer your question we cant give you a setting we dont know you mouse or your need/likes play with your settings in arma till you get what you like
