Hello, there can be many causes and fixes for this,try temporarily disabling and antivirus and firewall you have running and try launching again,run steam as administrator and revalidating your files and relaunchingtry to maunually installing http://www.battleye.com/download.html and relaunchgo to C:\Users\YOUR USER HERE\AppData\Local\DayZ\ and delete the battleye folder in here and relaunch (appdata is a hidden folder in your user directory you can get there by typing %localappdata% in your search or address bar)sorry i am on a phone these are most common fixes, try these and get report back Rgds AH

Teamspeak should not give you any issues while running, i have used it for years on multiple games without any impact on any of my systems

No probs, its got to be a file permissions error as you have said, is your user a roaming profile on the domain. as for manually creating the files this should be working unless its not looking in the place where you are locating the files ei incorrect case. wrong filenames wrong format or missing files are the files being created in your local appdata folder ?

run as steam as admin this should give you proper file permissions to write the initial files and modify them

only other place things are stored (other then reg settings but a revalitae will clear them if running steam as admin) is C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Local\DayZ\ appdata is a hidden folder in your userfiles i mean go to preferences at the top and hit reset to factory defaults

try running steam as admin- revalidating your files and running the game again

how about the reset of the catalyst control center

you can set catalyst to factory defaults in the menu of CCC, you can also reset the preferences for dayz by deleting the profile in your documents for dayz and it will be re created on start

ram disks were used in the mod to boost performance remember that for the sa you would need about 9 gigs of spare ram for this plus the copy times over to a ram disk would take a while so if your playing 24/7 keeping the game on the ramdisk you would see load time increases and a slight performance gain but in my eyes nothing worth paying £23 for and copying the game over at each start up

uninstall delete the maca134 folder from C:\Users\Tyron\AppData\Local\ reinstall your user configuration files are messed up this will recreate them
