where did you get combined operations from -
bec uses the local time if the server not what time the game is starting at so if you set it for an hour earlier it should be fine

yeah but there are options to launch using steam in dzc settings

have you tried turning them both steam options so your not launching it through steam

here is links to the patches Arma 2 Patch 1.00 to 1.09 Arma 2 from 1.05 version to 1.11 Arma 2 OA 1.50 to 1.60 Arma 2 OA 1.60 to 1.62 after you get up to the latest versions run arma co to the menus click expansions and make sure the following is enabled arma2 arma2 oa arma2 baf lite arma2 pmc lite if not enable them and restart once the game has restarted exit and launch dayz commander make sure the arma 2 patch is up to date and dayz then launch dayz and all should be good :) -

run arma 2 and it should give you a version number in the bottom corner and do the same for oa -
do you have steam versions of the game are you launching the game with the steam options enabled in the settings

have you updated the baf and pmc dlc have you updated arma2 to version 1.11 have you updated arma2 to version 1.62 and then the beta on top of that run arma2 oa ands see if baf and pmc is enabled -

could be 2 reasons either something is using the file ie steam close it and try again or you have uac set to protect system files battleye website gives you the MD5 if you really worried but it dont matter if you dont add it to avira exception because it will stll kick you out till you tell avira that its not a virus -

avira does bring this up as a trojan but it is not its failing to update due to avira thinking it is and stopping it from downloading the updated one hence why you are getting kicked -

just add the dll file to your exceptions i think its in expert mode then your shield settings and let it ignore scanning the battleye folder and you can keep your av going and you wont get anymore problems with it :) -
yeah with steam games it dont matter if you remove a file if you start in admin and validate the files it will always get the file back :)

he wants to move a retail version to steam from what the question seems like... yeah dont go for cd key changers loads are malware designed to take your key and give it to the local ####### hacker

if your using the same version of windows on both machines you can export the key containing your cd key on one of the machines and merge it into the reg of the other (back up the key on the other too and you can switch back and forth easily)

what anti virus are you using

if you delete the affected file then run steam in admin (right click and run as administrator) validate the cache of arma 2 and let it redownload the file and then run it to the main menu and see if that works usually these errors come up because of a corrupted file

Arma II Quitting Whenever It Wants (Please Help)

one of your installs has a corrupted file it could be arma2 or arma 2 oa ... if your using steam do the following close steam start steam in admin (right click and run as administrator) right click on arma2 and properties then local files click on verify integrity of game cache <-- do it twice and do the same for arma2 oa run arma2 to the menu run arma2 oa to the menu play dayz again :) (hopefully) -
it will run on the n series but dont expect it to be fast as its only a mobile i5 in most of those things and arma is very cpu heavy and then dayz on top of that. its worth 30 just for arma any mod is a plus yeah headset is a good idea as for servers and clans there are sections of these forums where the servers are listed with all the info on them etc in private hives same goes for clans take a look through and apply

some av dont find them because they don't replicate themselves they access the reg and send data to the internet just like any other program

if your launching the game from dayz commander you dont have to put the mod in the launch parameters just find the server and double click to load up

have you moved them into your arma2 battleye folder too
