Launch Problems (Steam Version)

close steam start steam in admin (right click and run as administrator) right click on arma2 and properties then local files click on verify integrity of game cache and do the same for arma2 oa run arma2 to the menu run arma2 oa to the menu click in expansions make sure the following are enabled arma2 arma2 oa arma2 baf lite arma2 pmc lite if not enable them and restart then exit the game install the beta patch and dayz using your preferred method i suggest using DayZ Commander http://dayzcommander.blob.core.windows.net/releases/Dotjosh.DayZCommander.Installer.msi and play -
delete the @dayz folder out of the oa folder and reinstall dayz

Can only play on a server for about 1 week, then constand de sych after that

run a speedtest and ping test -
battleye initialization failed and cant fix it

go into you appdata folder and delete the arma2oa folder in local C:\Users\YOUR USER HERE\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA launch vanilla arma 2 oa as admin and sit in a low ping battleye enabled lobby with only a couple on people in till it updates then try dayz again -

have you ran both games as admin at least once before. what version of the games are you running steam/retail/gog -
DAYZ crashes when i try to dc when i die or have to logout

check the windows logs. find where the arma crash is and post the log -
some more information may help retail\steam what versions of the games etc. etc any logs

for playing dayz in my opinion use dayzcommander from here remember to lauch steam as admin and run both games to the menus before installing dayz

that menu should be in a advanced section of your realtek manager the problem is that i cant tell you where as each manufacturer changes the layout but separating the io ports and muting the rest should help

delete the key from your registry and start steam as admin then validate your files then launch both games to the menus if that dont put it back in clean your computer of "questionable programs"

arma2 is at v1.11 and arma 2 oa should be at v1.62

hi mate first of all is the error "Error Creating Direct 3D 9 Graphic Engine" what versions of the games are you running ie steam/retail/gog etc how are you launching the game and how do you launch dayz what operating system are you using what beta patch are you running have you installed any updated graphic card drivers since you have got this error

you need to run steam as admin and run each game upto the menus -
there is something about this in the forums i did suggest using a symlink so the servers still belive the files are in the correct place but you wont get the same speeds you did before
