it depends on what version is on the server

have you got any other games based on the unreal 3 engine sorry i meant steam/retail versions of the games

so its nothing to do with nod32 then unless it deinfected one or more of the files. what version of the game are you using

have you tested to see if its nod32 disable the antivirus and run the games to see if they run

did you tell them your using an old version of bec not the new one

lol i really hope it works its a pain when they dont leave the old versions about so you can check the examples :) that and gsp dont update regularly or let you update

try removing the seconds from your time as i said before bec have changed the way the time is inputted a few times in the last couple of releases ie <job id="3"> <time>10:55</time> <delay>000000</delay> <day>1,2,3,4,5,6,7</day> <loop>0</loop> <cmd>say -1 Server will Auto restart in 5 min</cmd> <cmdtype>0</cmdtype> </job>

the website was down for a bit must of been when he tried them

run steam as administrator validate the files for arma2 valitade the files for arma2oa run both games to the main menu install the beta patch install dayz and it should be ok

its part of the beta patch delete the beta folder from expansions and reinstall the beta

that could be a couple of things first thing you want to check is is the map versions and beta versions on the server the same as you have Edit:: you can run higher versions of the beta patch without any problems (they are backwards compatible) but dayz and the map version must be the same -

i wasnt implying that you were using hacks mate it could of been a dodgy server that is full of them.. make sure you download the retail patches from the arma site arma2 needs to be at 1.11 and oa needs to be at 1.62 and run each game to the menu as admin then install the beta patch and dayz on top of that -

does this happen on just the one server or all of them because that script is used to launch certain hacks... are you running the latest beta and what versions of the game are you running steam/retail -
if your using a non steam version you have to update the game s to the latest versions yourself from here http://www.armaholic.com/list.php?c=arma2_files_patches_official http://www.armaholic.com/list.php?c=arma2_oa_files_patches_official if you are using the steam version lose steam start steam in admin (right click and run as administrator) right click on arma2 and properties then local files click on verify integrity of game cache and do the same for arma2 oa run arma2 to the menu run arma2 oa to the menu click in expansions make sure the following are enabled

if its a problem with you not installing the patches.. that what it looks like a reinstall will not help because u are not installing the patches nor have you answered my questions that will let me link you directly to the files you require to update the game. launch both games to the menus and look in the bottom right hand corner for the version numbers and post them here

Arma 2 free not on steam anymore?

arma free on steam is the demo on the arma2 page.. steam call it a demo instead of arma2 free you need to remember to move the addons folder out of arma2 free and into armra2 oa for it to work after that you can uninstall the demo if you wish -
use the ip in the arma browswer click on launch dayz now in the setting to get it up. it can take upto 24 hours for gamespy to update the cache for gameserver ips

it could be a number of things. you are running the wrong mod for the server you are joining ie running @dayz and trying to join a tavi server running a mod that isnt accepted by the server ie running @dayz;@ACE or coreupt dayz files as jackspotdayz says we need more info post a screenshot of the message or write down what it says and we can help you further

in the new version of bec the time need to be like and delay needs to be below it <time>06:00:00</time> <delay>000000</delay>

have you deleted the old beta files before installing the new ones and have you swapped the main excitable with the beta

are you all using arma2 free have you copied the addons folder to the arma2 oa folder

try deleting the arma2oa folder from C:\Users\YOUR USER HERE \AppData\Local and then start the game as admin
