where did you get the server from if it is a vps or dedicated (if you can get to the desktop) you can use dayzcommnder to update to the version you require if you use a control panel (ACP/TCADMIN etc) you need to go to updates or mod manager to select the versions you require

check the locations in the settings for dayz commander you are launch dayz taviana and joining a dayz server if you are trying to get on a taviana server reinstall the taviana mod

when you launch arma operation arrowhead the expansions is on the main menu dont worry about the battleye version it will update in the lobby

the deleted file means that combined operations are not being loaded for steam versions do the following close steam start steam in admin (right click and run as administrator) right click on arma2 and properties then local files click on verify integrity of game cache and do the same for arma2 oa run arma2 to the menu run arma2 oa to the menu click in expansions make sure the following are enabled arma2 arma2 oa arma2 baf lite arma2 pmc lite if not enable them and restart then exit the game make sure the paths to the game locations are right in dayz commander if you are using retail/download versions make sure that you have arma2 updated to version 1.11 and arma 2 oa updated to v 1.62 and then install the beta patches can be found here you may need multiple ones to get you up to the lastest version

change the location to your ramdisk files to G:\@Dayz\addons thats should stop the kicks

have you tried updating to the new dayz mod and see if you can connect to any of the servers running the lastest version as well

have you updated the base games to 1.11 for arma 2 and 1.62 for arma 2 oa cos you are missing the pmc dlc that was included as a lite version in a patch for oa i think it was 1.60

list what you have tried and what versions of the game you are running

change loop to 1 have you checked the logs to see if anything pops out at you perhaps your using the wrong time format they have changed it the last few versions

you need to get a webhost any free one will do download phpmyadmin ftp to your webhost and transfer the files go to your webhost domain and set up phpmyadmin to point to your mysql server on acplayer and then you should be good to go

arma is worth buying just for arma all the other mods including this one is a bonus on top of a great game

if you have the vilayer dayz vps package you can just move the phpmyadmin files into your @daycc/htdocs and go to the yourip:78/phpmyadmin

chive is used by dayzcc not vilayer in that case but a lot of hosts use it as it has a clean interface for beginners..phpmyadmin and chive a small php scripts thefore they dont take much space or resourses to run all you need is for them to have php enabled that most free services provide http://www.host-ed.net/ these are quite a good free service and dont bother you with ads and loads of emails etc

yes you need a php enabled websever and then setup the configs to point to your mysql ip and port hedisql can do anything that phpmyadmin or chive can do

I dont think the server files are read by the clients it references the dayz files that are on the server not the client side in the text you put above. hit messages are broadcast serverside have you looked into seeing how they are done

dayz uses assets from the baf and pmc dlc so if you go for the whole pack you get better textures on some cars and skins its totally up to you if you want that it doesnt really effect most people playing without them A3 is out on alpha atm noone knows if a "DayZ" port will be made for it you may see like dayz mods for it. arma itself is a brilliant game and its worth paying just for that ... the mod is a bonus

if you want to play warz buy warz if you want to play dayz get arma combined operations

that dsound file is the problem mate start the pc up in safe mode delete the file

scan your pc for viruses check the disk for errors and defrag that error means that it cannot access a dll file or registry file check to see if the folders are read only. reinstall directx and see if your drivers are upto date as well edit if you copied the files from an older install check the folder for dsound.dll and delete dsound.dll if it exists. And there is a folder called dll, delete that too windows 7 dont need these

yeah and revalidate the files for each game

post a screenshot of the exact error you are getting have you tried reinstalling/ re verifying (steam running as admin) the files with your av disabled
