if you got the dlc after installing the arma2 oa 1.62 patch you have to reinstall the 1.62 patch... if they are steam games you have to revalidate the files with steam running as admin and launch arma2 and arma2 oa to the menus

have you run both games to the menus with steam running as admin.. are the paths correct in dayzcommander

you are launching normal dayz not origins

you need to update arma2 to v1.11 for this message to go away

have you patched the game to v1.11 for arma2 and 1.62 for arma2oa before installing the beta

you cant really expect to get your money back for a free mod try deleting the arma2oa folder from the APPDATA/local folder in your user files. there is plenty of advice on this site look up top search box or look through the troubleshooting section if you cant find your problem make a post and following the advice you are given

right click on it and go to permissions and add yourself to full permissions for them files and then delete them. if you cant then the virus is still about somewhere or it completely fucked up your registry you'll have to roll back or reinstall your os

you will have to delete the keys from the registry and start steam as administrator and run the game to the menu first to put the new key in

why won't it let you update is the update automatic switched on for arma2 you need to sort out arma2 before you will get dayz to work

close steam start steam in admin (right click and run as administrator) right click on arma2 and properties then local files click on verify integrity of game cache and do the same for arma2 oa run arma2 to the menu run arma2 oa to the menu click in expansions make sure the following are enabled arma2 arma2 oa arma2 baf lite arma2 pmc lite if not enable them and restart then exit the game in dayz commander make sure the paths are correct and check the boxes for steam

yeah if you've played dayz before you would of needed combined ops just dayz commander aint launching it .... i meant where did you get the game from steam/retail/gog

make sure the path is correct to arma as its not launching combined operations. what version of the game do you own

have you deleted the files out of your registry after uninstalling then do a fresh install.. what version of the game are you using

are you running this on a laptop or desktop because if the cpu is sharing memory with the system its an onboard gpu and it ain't worth much when it comes to gaming plus that to a dc cpu the recommend specs do state good quad cores to run on and dayz takes more then that

could be a couple of things try turning the max connections down in the settings and do a refresh too many connections confuse older or cheaper routers dayz commander cant show every server its a limitation with the gamespy framework only allows so many queries it overcomes this limitation by using a cache on a server and then a refresh checks if the server is still alive with the ip/port from the cache if your router craps out processing it will see a lot a servers as dead if you keep refreshing the server list you will see different servers popping in and some servers disappearing this is more apparent in the arma browser that will only show 500 at a time sometimes you have to refresh a couple of times before you can get the server you were looking for and why the ping is always way out

then you will have the files that you require just install both games and make sure they are running the correction versions arma 2 needs to be version 1.11 and arma2 oa needs to be 1.62 they need to be at this version before installing the beta patches launch both games to the main menu and look in the bottom corner for the version where did you get the game from

you buy the game and you get it or you can use the arma2 free version from bi note that that option gives you low res textures
