What's your in-game name SetVariable Value Restriction's are often caused by players using names with restricted words/letter combinations in them, "call", "code", "set", "trigger" -
the save information in saved in the hive you cant effect it out of game you can delete both folders and it will recreate them but all thats saved there is settings logs and the downloaded mission files

Layer=> Transparency if you select colour to alpha you can pick a colour that you want to make transparent ie white

dont see why not as mostly its mysql and thats cross platform the only rea bit you need win for is the hiveext.dll but your running wine yeah

this is usually caused by either corrupted registry entries, key stealers, or a pirated version of the game where did you get the game from if its steam try close steam start steam in admin (right click and run as administrator) right click on arma2 and properties then local files click on verify integrity of game cache <-- do it twice and do the same for arma2 oa run arma2 to the menu run arma2 oa to the menu click in expansions make sure the following are enabled arma2 arma2 oa arma2 baf lite arma2 pmc lite if not enable them and restart then exit the game if its retail you will have to reinstall the game from scratch deleting the registry entries

seems okay to me but then again i havent spoke it in years and it was my third language -
the active one will not be there if the server hasnt started.. the server status unknown usually means that the tcadmin agent has crashed on the box so it cant communicate the only thing you can do is put a ticket in and wait for a response it could be that the server was still provisioning when you started it the first time cause the service to crash

Your saying your getting a BSOD what does it say on it if it dont stay up long enough you can disable automatic restart on system failure by pressing f8 and selecting the option when windows loads

in your batteye folder make sure the BEServer.cfg and BEServer_active_****.cfg both have the following in RConPassword YOUR PASSWORD HERE MaxPing PING LIMIT HERE

dayz isnt a company the "Staff" are mostly volunteers its like asking apple for support for an ms office product. -
if you are running retail versions of the game you need to install the correct patches before you install the beta version of the patch

so to cut a long story short you think that volunteers who do not work for dayz/bis/battleye have an open dialogue with batteye short answer is no the script files are made by bis and are modified voluntary people by bis for dayz in his own time. your friend really should try and find the reason he keeps getting banned ie check out his pc i have been playing arma since it came out and dayz since it first was realised as well as other mods and i am still on my first and only key -
