lose steam start steam in admin (right click and run as administrator) right click on arma2 and properties then local files click on verify integrity of game cache <-- do it twice and do the same for arma2 oa run arma2 to the menu run arma2 oa to the menu click in expansions make sure the following are enabled arma2 arma2 oa arma2 baf lite arma2 pmc lite if not enable them and restart then exit the game that should solve your cd key issues if not do you have teamviewer and i will take a look

steam do this process too to check you own the game before giving you links for the game its standard practice. they will also check if the key is being used by someone else too -

it is either the dzc cdn is down or something it blocking access (ie antivirus/firewall) have you tried deleting the _DZC_CACHE folder in your arma2 oa folder try launching command prompt and typing in ipconfig /flushdns -

that message can mean a couple of things either dayz commanders cdn site is down or your firewall or antivirus is blocking the software check to see if the net framework is enabled in programs and features win 8 its disabled by default

you should be aware that a lot of hosted private hive are having troubles with some hacker getting rcon passwords and are currently broken giving you that message if they haven't been turned off

object data table stores the objects lol usually on another database i have never used this option you can change it in the hive.ini to use it or not

you can try extracting the mission file its in init.sqf dayZ_serverName="UK 44"; don't know if that would do anything bad but it wont hurt to try -
Updating Patches on Private Hive

nps mate you need to uninstall the maps on an update to the code in acp -
will it let you continue as the 718 patch has acr in it and it flags up if people don't have the acr but will continue to install anyway ... have you tried any of the newer patches to see if they install the youtube video is for cracked copies of the games not real ones i would delete that information out of your registry and start steam as admin validate both arma 2 and arma 2 oa and run both to the menus to get your cd key back into the registry

uninstall the maps in mod manager install the update reinstall the maps in mod manager -

its amazing how many times people say my name in times of need he is correct it looks like something is stopping the download have you tried deleting the _DZC_CACHE from your arma folder you can download itt manually like the guy above says but thats just putting a plaster over the problem

it will only overwrite the registry if you revalidate the file and then start steam as admin

you wont have to delete the steam copy you can just reinstall

the steam version has overwrote your registry entries not only the cd key the locations of the files the only way you can get it to work again is by overwriting the registry entries the only way you can do this with a retail version is a reinstall. you can then export the registry entries to save them incase steam overwrites them again

roll back a version of dayz and join an older version or press excape when loading and hit respawn and you will die think that still works
