close steam start steam in admin (right click and run as administrator) right click on arma2 and properties then local files click on verify integrity of game cache and do the same for arma2 oa run arma2 to the menu run arma2 oa to the menu click in expansions make sure the following are enabled arma2 arma2 oa arma2 baf lite arma2 pmc lite if not enable them and restart then exit the game then install the beta and dayz pop to pub and get me a drink :) -

you need to play with the beta patch for dayz mate did you start all the game with steam running as admin

are you launching through steam if you are you need to press play with beta patch the version you are running is the steam default patch

No problems mate. It could of only been a few things. It's just a case of going through each one -
Start steam as admin by right clicking and selecting the option as it needs to write to the registry on first start I can jump on Skype laters you have my username or I can jump on team viewer I am currently in work so can't do it till later

how abaout your profile did you delete that -
you can launch arma from steam ok from your old account as long as you haven't validated your files and steam doesn't have admin rights or you can simply lock the keys in the registry so they cant be changed

are you using a retail version of the game if so you need to update arma 2 to v1.11 and arma 2 oa to 1.62 before installing the beta patch patches can be found here

have you deleted the whole @dayz folder and reinstalling dayz -

try deleting everything in C:\Users\YOUR USER HERE\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA start the game as admin so you dont run into any batteye errors and then see if it works if it doesn't go back into that folder and there is a file called arma2oa.RPT you can open it in a text editor and see if any errors appear relating to it -

yeah use wasd keys for movement then all the other keys are around there also its also easier on the arms on a smaller desk -

I have these working also you just need to go through the edits of the files and insert them into the correct places if you just use the files off open dayz.net site your using parts if the old server code Also bane do you have any ideas how to add snow to the current dynamic weather I have a snow script that I can feed variables into for different snow effects similar to rain but can't seem to get it to add to the mix -
nope banned weapons are well banned you can use rmod to enable them
