if you have retail you need to update the base games to the latest versions first run arma 2 and in the bottom corner you will see the version number this needs to be at 1.11 run arma 2 oa(non beta version)and in the bottom corner you will see the version number this needs to be at 1.62 please do this and get back with the versions number you have in the bottom corner

okay are you using steam versions of the games if you are do this close steamstart steam in admin (right click and run as administrator) right click on arma2 and properties then local files click on verify integrity of game cache <-- do it twice and do the same for arma2 oa and any dlc you own run arma2 to the menu and do the same for arma2 oa and any dlc you own reinstall the beta patch and dayz if you have retail versions of the game make sure arma 2 is running at 1.11 and arma2 is running at 1.62 <-- without the beta patch running you can check these by launching both games to the menu and then looking in the bottom right hand corner if all this is done and you're still having these errors pleas go to C:\Users\YOUR USER HERE\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\ delete everything in that folder and keep the folder open start dayz and try to load into a server when you get disconnected exit dayz and find the file in that folder called "ArmA2OA.RPT" upload that somewhere and link the file here so we can see if your getting errors (appdata is a hidden folder in your user files)

try downgrading your beta to a much lower than the server allows for then when you get stuck on loading you can hit the escape and hit respawn it should kill your current character and then you can install the correct beta and should spawn on the beach.

is the folder in the mission file named Scripts

It will happen in some other games at somepoint to off the top of my head I dunno where the option is to turn it off as I've never used that brand I know with dell it has to be done via the registry and some use the btmon and other have a control panel to turn them off Take a look through your keyboard setting and any software that came with the laptop. If not start disabling unrecognisable processes from the list one by and to find out what program is piping up the messages
